You sure about that? ;)

Are we supposed to pick one guy, or is this some kind of actual joke of a mock draft that gives us every single player that we want?

I'm taking into consideration that the top 4 players will all be gone by #35 or so, with two of the top three gone by #20.

The only difference I would make would be swap out Kendall Reyes for Nick Perry who the have at #38. We'd have a front 7 3-4 of Wilfork-Poe-Thompson-Perry-Spikes-Mayo-McClellin. Granted they may not all start as rookies, but you get the idea.

Dontari Poe is lazy as **** on the field. No f ing thanks

Wow. If we landed half that draft class we'd have to be thrilled. Poe and Thompson. Reyes, Jenkins, McClellan and Randall? I would never draft Jenkins, myself, and Poe would be a tough one for me to pull the trigger on. But this is a damn impressive haul. I see the possibility of five rookie starters in that crew.

I fully agree that a choice or two on that list is not what I project to be a NEP type of player, but the list itself is impressive in the talent aspect.

Personally, I am expecting 1/2 of a draft this good. That'd be great, along with another couple of high picks next yr, as long as they're taken on defense.

There are too many on this site who continuosly build up the draft like it's going to be some miracle worker, then they are the group who's the first to b!tch as soon as it's nothing like they imagined.

I am hoping for 2-3 guys who will help to produce this year, and hopefully an upgrade in talent at a few positions. On top of that, I am hoping to re-load on picks for next yr too, which is a probability.

I thought the last 2 yrs were great, but many complained last yr.

Switch out one of the top two for Nick Perry and its a done deal.

They update it every few days, and they don't archive old ones (I suppose archive.org might, though I don't feel like going to look).

FYI in the current version the Pats take:

27: Andre Branch (with Mark Barron still bafflingly on the board!)
31: Alfonzo Dennard (options include Kendell Reyes, Nick Perry)
48: Jerel Worthy (options include Bruce Irvin, Harrison Smith, Shea McClellin)
62: Amini Silatolu (options include Ben Jones, Vinny Curry, Ron Brooks, Brandon Boykin)

I'll go out on a limb and guess that Barron, Reyes, McClellin/Smith and pretty much any of the options at 62 would be more popular here?

Please no Poe. He is Albert Haynesworth 2.0

Barron is probably the only A grade S available in this draft, but when he grows up he seems like he'll be more of a SS. Unless BB is inclined to move away from Chung, why? The CB position is far deeper, and I'd much rather tab one of them or a front 7 player that BB thinks can't miss.

I still think trading #27 into the mid/late 30's nets you nearly as good a player and more chips to move around.

I think as a low first round draft pick, you could do pretty well with him........he will need to play for his next contract, so you can get 4-5 years out of him.

I mean if the pats could throw a pick away on brace, taking him at 27 is a no brainer
