This was the weekly "coffee with the coach" segment on "the big show". The rest of the intervew was good (he seems a lot more forthcoming on these bits, like talking with friends...not like a press conference) Lots of good info on Indy and what they are doing lately and such, lots of x's and o's talk. Also said that Kaiding was making them from 60 at that end of the field in pre-game so he must have "not gotten all of it" because "we weren't saying he's out of range" speaking on the last kick. He had nothing but good things to say about SD. Said that SD was not the best team they have seen since he came to NE, but it was St Louis. I am sure it will be up on the WEEI audio vault later today if anyone is interested.

BB was on the big show and TB was on Dennis and Callahan. Should also be some Bruchi, artrell, and seymore on dale and holley....all should be up tonight i think.

Fun interview, BB sounded pretty loose and upbeat. I enjoyed his 2 questions back to the WEEI crew - What would you do with 8 secs left, no timeouts, and barely in FG range? (sounded like BB might have tried 1 more play) and Would you squib kick with 1min left, or kick it deep to a dangerous return guy? (obviously he chose to kick it deep for field position)

That's the first time I've been able to catch BB on the Big Show and you're right, he's very relaxed, even ending the segment with his questioning what the other guys would do in certain situations. Very informative and fun to learn what his thought process is in some gametime situations.
By the way, nothing but supportive comments on some of Marty's decisions...very classy!!!

the chargers wasted too much time on that last drive, they should ahve spiked the ball and stopped the clock. i'm glad they didn't

They could have tried a play to the sidelines before attempting a field goal.

It shouldn't have come down to a field goal to force an OT. There were too many mistakes from both special teams, defense, and coaching. I'd give up my dog to have these 2 team play again next year but it's not on the schedule (unless the NFL makes changes).

I believe BB would love to have him as his starting RB (who wouldn't). I'll go so far to say, BB could win 3...maybe 4 Super Bowls with him.
