well now that Rome and Irvin have spoken we can close the matter.

Wow! Irvin says something intelligent. Nothing to do with the game at all, but hey, it's a good start! ;)

Irvin will be back on the crack pipe this week and will be salivating over the thought of picking the Colts once again this weekend. His head would explode if the Colts actually do indeed make the SB. He would die if they won.

They just showed why LT was pissed off. One Pat (maybe Hobbs) was in the middle of the field doing the Merriman dance. There was no organized team sack dance celebration. And where the hell do they expect the Pats players to celebrate anyways? They're supposed to head to the middle of the field to shake hands. Totally sore loser comments by LT.

I really think it says something taht both Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin have made fairly sane observations on this whole LT thing.

Perhaps because they loved to celebrate and they kind of know the drill...if you dish it, you better be able to take it.

Or maybe, just maybe, Hobbs was wrong to a stupid and classless thing at a moment when all the players were congregating at midfield to show respect to each other.

Funny how so many posters here are amazed at some reveleation that all of a sudden Sanders and Irvin are so correct. News Flash: They didn't change their spots - - a lot of relativist NE fans did.

Thank God it was only one guy and the rest of the organization is still something to be proud of as MEN and not BOYS.

What hobbs did was in poor taste, however, he didn't call our the other teams head coach or all of the other teams players. LT should have said it was ONE guy and be done with it. The conversation would have stopped there, but he expanded it and brought this on himself by bringing every pat player and coach into the conversation

come on LT stop your crying and face the real problem. You and your team lost and that is all said

Believe me, no one is more irritated that I have to actually agree with what Sanders and Irvin are saying....but you know, Sanders was right. LT was not mad about some dumb dance...he was mad about a horrible loss and that's it. To get up there and drag our head coach into it was just dumb, and it made LT look ridiculous....except maybe to Skip Bayless and select other members of the media.

The only reason I wish our players wouldn't do these dumb dances is because of next day media dumping like this. That is it. I think dancing is silly whether or not we are doing it or the opposition is, but I ultimately don't care. It's a freakin' football game, not a Miss Manners convention. However, I think it is worth noting that there is no mention made of the fact that Merriman is classless for doing it in the first place (and by LT's stellar logic, Shottenheimer as well for not stopping it). It's only us who get dumped on. Sorry but that's totally irritating.
