Not defending the Chargers, but I think every teams does this, can you really hold a parade with 1,000,000+ people without planning ? Can you play in the SB without scouting ? I don't begrudge any team that does this, if it becomes public though, then it becomes bulletin board material.

That's just it, it became public. The Pats have done this and not put it in the paper or anything. It may leak out to a radio station or whatever but the organization quickly squashes it.

when asked about LT situation:

said it was out of pure emotion/not planned out. said that it is funny that the chargers were making all those comment after last years game and that merriman has his own dance to mock opponents and then when it gets done to them they get all defensive.

when asked about LT's comments about BB, he said he didnt understand where he was coming from and had to have just been talking out of frustration. That Bill has the utmost respect for every opponent he plays etc etc

Ellis played a great game IMO. He got caught up in some drastic size mismatches, only once did they really hit someone for a big gain on him, due to the fact that Hobbs is like 5'9" and that reciever was 6'4".

Warren admitted that some of the celebrations may have gone on too long, but disagreed with Tomlinson's suggestion that BB had something to do with it. "BB doesn't condone that stuff."

He also said while the SD o-line is good, Tomlinson makes them good because he can bounce from gap to gap.

He also compared Manning to Jordan and said you just have to limit what Manning does.
