Well, we just found a landing place for Matt Light, if he wants it.

Looks like Philly's going to be looking at OTs in the draft. Tough blow.

Light is either retiring or playing here. And the team seems to be allowing him to make the choice, although with Mankins likely out early on they'd probably just as soon he choose play.

Wow! that's a tough break. I hate to sound like an ass but, knowing Andy Reid.... That leaves one more DT on the board that may fall to us.

It seems more likely the Philadelphia Eagles will be trading back into the first round especially with an additional second round draft pick this year.

I wonder which team annually trades draft picks with the Philadelphia Eagles?

Matt Light is currently under contract with the New England Patriots. Matt Light is more likely to be filing retirement papers than traded to the Philadelphia Eagles.

You mean the Pats send #31 to Philly for pick #46 this year and a 2nd next year and they throw in a 7th rounder to boot.

He's re-ruptured the achilles:

According to Gunn, Peters was walking in his kitchen using a device designed to hold up his foot, so that he could get around without putting any weight on his injured Achilles. Unfortunately, the device (perhaps not designed for someone who weighs 350 pounds) broke. Peters fell, re-injured the Achilles and needs another surgery.
