Added Colvin after calming down, “They were planning parades. They actually had a pep rally last week. I’m serious. We’re not in high school, man. We here in this locker room know how to approach a situation. We know how to win.”

And Wilfork too:

“You could just tell in the way they approached the game, the little shots they took, the way they carried themselves,” said nose tackle Vince Wilfork [stats] of the Chargers. “Talking tough all week, acting like they had the game won. I guess they didn’t realize you don’t win games in the newspaper.”

:)

Well then you should know he REALLY HATES being called "Rosey"

you heart him? you mean you hear him? you love him?

is that english?

It is indeed. It is a common expression. Started with the I [heart symbol] bumper stickers. People say "I heart..."

Let me guess? Season ticket holder since '63? '65?

;)

As Michael said, it's common 21st century parlance.

And he hates being called Rosey? Hmm, I guess I would too, esp. if I had a cool name like Roosevelt.

I'm actually in my 30's, guess i need to speed up to the 21st century

The awesome thing about Colvin is that he's very articulate and well-spoken. Don't read anymore into this comment than what's there, but you do see many athletes nowadays compose themselves in a less than professional way (ala Merriman). But, as we know, intelligent players are the kind that BB likes anyway, so it should be no surprise.

Colvin really is very well spoken, I'm impressed whenever I read his quotes.

I think it's funny that the Pats were annoyed by the pep rally. When I heard the Chargers were having one, I thought it was the strangest thing I'd ever heard.
