Over a billboard on Rte 1....sounds like the town is willing to cut off its nose to spite its face?

"Hey lets piss off the largest taxpayer in town!" yeah thats a great idea.....

Biting the hand that feeds you. Typical low level local politico.

This too shall pass its not like Kraft can pack up and leave...lets just say they need eachother but not a Casino.:nono:

Kraft's been talking too much lately... First about Mario Williams, now this..?

He needs to do like Scrooge McDuck, go swim in his gold coins and leave the football chatter to the football guys.

Providence may get their team after all ;)

It's easier to replace a Town Manager than a football franchise... Kraft could keep the town in court long enough to eat up all the taxes he pays.

and thats the money shot - why is some town pol wading into this fight, over a billboard arrangement? Why waste tax money on litigation? Morons.....

All Kraft is doing is fighting off a mugger. This Paicos guy is trying to rob him at political knifepoint. The billboards are on private property and Kraft has played by the rules the whole time with them.

In fairness, the town should take Paicos' home by emminent domain.

Or how about he continues doing what he's done for the last 18 years, and carries on being the best owner in the league?

So... in this scenario we're pretending he's a Rooney?

You mean Rooney wishes he was called Kraft?

Maybe Rooney wishes he was eating some Kraft macaroni.

I bet if he did they'd rename it Kraft MacaRooney. Dude's got the goods.

The Federal court has granted an injunction ordering the town to allow a Kraft representative to speak at tonight's meeting, per Boston.com.

Sounds like the issue is an easement. I know I have an easement on my property (I have a big house in the city, a wide shared driveway). There's an easement that allows access to a carriage house well beyond my backyard. This literally means that, while I own my property, I have to allow access onto my property (only onto my driveway) to the owner of the carriage house.

This is a lot of drama to kick up over a couple of billboards. Foxboro should have cooler heads prevail.

If they take them by eminent domain, and there's a proven history of the Town limiting Kraft's freedom of speech on the topic, watch out. Kraft is going to own a lot more of Foxboro than he does already.

Wrong Kraft. You sure Buffalo is just your second favorite team?

FWIW this is business, not football, and Kraft is in charge of the business of football here. Bill is in charge of the game of football. Kraft is one of the most influential owners in the NFL, in case you weren't all that familiar with him...

I'm not a fan of the Bills, i like their fans.

Also, Rooney is not the owner of the Bills so why would you even make that correlation?

Wouldn't that make me a Steelers fan? Anyone debating the fact that the Rooney's are world class owners aren't fans of football. <----(PERIOD)

Anyone intimating that Kraft isn't a world class owner is potentially outing himself as a troll...

He's been making some questionable moves lately... Doesn't mean i like him any less as an owner, i just think he needs to sit back and be a little quieter about it.

But you're right i've only just now decided to be an "official" poster so i must be a "troll."

Give that guy a cardboard mcdonalds crown, he's got to be royalty with that snooty 'tude.
