With Light's status up in the air and Vollmer with an ailing back (which if you remember Kazcur was never the same after his) I think we should take an OT.

James Brown OT Troy would also be a good value here and fits a need.

He's 6'3" though and projects as a Guard in the NFL.

We still have Solder, Vollmer and Cannon as OT's. There are also no good Guard or OT's of value at this spot IMO.

I'd rather get someone like Ryan Miller in the 4th.

FWIW, I did a project mapping big boards across the web (got through 11). Jamell Fleming is a mid to late second rounder as a consensus view.

Could you kindly post a composite? That would be well worth perusing. :)

How old are those BB's though?

I've got about 5 sites I use to form a composite and most have him as the 8th-15th best CB in the draft. And a mid 3rd-4th round prospect.

What's hurting him from what I can tell is bad games against Baylor and Oklahoma State. Which doesn't translate well in the pass happy NFL.

I thought about putting them up as a thread, will do that.

I'm going with Ben Jones C, Geo.

More help for the defense. I'll go with Casey Hayward if he's still on the board.
Otherwise, Chris Polk. He's not Corey Dillon tough but tough enough.
Both players are underrated and will be solid pros. Book it!

Billy Winn DE

Ronnell Lewis, DE/OLB, Oklahoma interest me and I would love to see what BB could do with this kid.

Josh Robinson, CB/KR, Central Florfida would be a value pick IMO. We need guys who can play CB as many times we have three on the field.

Chandler Jones, DE, Syracuse is my guy who I would like to see after the 2012 season as he will take a year to be what I think. The way the draft played out I might lean to....

Trumaine Johnson, FS/CB, Montana, I could see BB drafting this guy right here. The way the draft board and who we have picked I might vote for him as my selections.

PatsFans You can now submit your votes!

I vote Ben Jones Georgia.

If it's not too late, I vote for: Chandler Jones, 3-4 OLB.

It came down to him, Billy Winn & Ben Jones; but our need for edge defenders, esp. at 3-4 OLB,
is too dire.

Fleming obviously. Unlike Boykin he can shut down the big fast receivers that have troubled the Pats for years. Plus we already have a solid slot corner.

Josh Robinson - CB - UCF is my pick. 5'10 199lb. 4.33 forty 38 inch vertical 11'1". UCF isn't the SEC. But, Conf- USA is pretty good football.

I like Boykin and Fleming. But, went the guy with more upside. Also considered doubling up on olb's. Chandler Jones - Syracuse or Cam Johnson - Virginia. Lamichael James could be a special player. He's not quite as fast. But, reminds me of Chris Johnson. Could go wr here too. Marvin Jones - Cal , Chris Givens - Wake ,M. McNutt, B. Quick, N. Toon.

Hopefully on the Patriots next selection the participants will just make a vote. Our time is up and looks like Ben Jones is the winner. I will post that selection now. Thanks to all who voted.
