Cry baby's. But apparently this isnt new in San Diego as we have already seen it from the "Big 3" in SD, LT-Rivers-Merriman. All three of which are sore losers. Hope they enjoy their stupid trip to the Pro Bowl.

These are the same fans that could find nothing about the Pats to gripe about so they had to take cheap shots at the six-state NE area by calling us a bunch of racists.

The Bolts are/were a good team. The San Diego area is straight-up beautiful and the folks out there are very chill. (That's why I was so suprised by their vitriol and false racist accusations). But for all their Pro Bowlers they could not find the kryponite to neutralize the Pats....And that's all I have to say.

the thing is...i have no problem with the SD team i think they played with alot of class and respect (except for LT's antics at hte end of the game and the headbutt) but honestly i like the chargers. what gets me is fans bad talkin BB and brady afterwards...maybe i shoulda never checked the chargers forum..ow well they LOST!!!

I would say the chargers fanbase are a very reactionary set of people. They have alot of blame towards a plethora of people to vent. With that venting comes irrational anger and bashing other team's fans and players. It happens to the best of us.

i posted right after the game (soon as i got to my computer) and realized they are just pissed...i was just as heated and blaming everyone else after the denver loss last year...so i understand. we outplayed them and got a little lucky. Our defense is really something special.....its going to be a long time before you see a defense that can dominate for this amount of time..BUT...they are acting very immature about the loss, the pats players had every right to do the merriman chant, as i recall the chargers, not the pats players, talked the **** this game...

People have made some good points. Fans are fans. I think their expectation of a win, coupled with a lot of alcohol, was the source of a lot of the stuff. In the stands, people were extremely loud the whole game. As would be expected, a lot of people were talking smack. I was in my Patriot gear, sitting next to another Patriot fan who was talking smack back to the fans. I don't chear on the road. I realize that the verbal abuse is something you just have to put up with. I also realize that you're just not going to win in these situations. But when a few of the fans started throwing peanuts on me, I said something. After a few minutes of it though, the Charger fans actually confronted the guys.

I thought for the most part the Charger fans were correct. Most of the posts I read they seemed to be ripping their coach and their missed opportunities.
Alot had some bitter good things to say about the Pats. Experienced football team,not making stupid mistakes like theirs. Well coached. Ripping their coach.{deservedly so.}

Some were pathetic sour grapes but I think most in general were mad and dissapointed over their meltdown and us coming through in the end.

I have never gone to a Chargers fan-site and I'm not about to start now. That game is over. I think they are the only team to have fans that had to be banned here (This year). Typical of yahoosim and bandwagoners. It's over and the best way to put them in their place is to treat them like their team 1 and done.
