Will be interesting to see the money figures. At first glance, I'm willing to bet that he got overpaid based on last year's sack total, but good for him in any case. This will, in all likelihood, be the contract that makes him most of his money for his career.

wish him the best...re-signing Carter is #1 on my list now along with Drafting Michael Brockers and Nick Perry

Good for Anderson but I have little doubt the price was too high for the Patriots, I also think this indicates that Belichik may finally go for pass rushers in the draft. 4 years was too long for Anderson imo, I doubt NE was willing to go beyond 2.

Bummer, but this was pretty much expected. Hope he got alot of money (I'd be upset if he got away for the 3-4M/year range)

Man, Tommy better have his head on a swivel. Who knows what Anderson got, I'm sure the Bills overpaid a little because they are going all in on the win now theme, which, I believe, is mistaken. Regardless, Anderson could have helped us.

Normally wouldn't agree with the win now, mortgage the future mentality.... But when you're 93 years old (like their owner is) it seems like the only prudent plan

Patfanken's head just exploded.

pats can grab merriman when they dump him

Anderson is MUCH better in a 4-3. He'll end up doing great in Buffalo and Patriot fans will complain but he just isn't a fit in the 3-4. Same with Andre Carter

Wish we could have resigned him, but glad when a journeyman player can cash in for 4 years. We gave him a 1 year so he could prove himself and he did and gets to cash in.

Looks as though Bill Belichick will revert back to the 3-4 defense this year.

I like Anderson but i wouldn't have given him 12-16 million. I would rather go with a couple of rookies as situational rushers and re-sign Carter.

The New England Patriots draft should be quite intriguing this year.

This tells me unless Bill has some trades for some Veterans in his pocket, Allen, Umineyera, We are drafting defensive line and linebacker early and often.
We are getting back a healthy Pryor, added fannene and Scott, But I wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots trade for a vet and draft a hopeful stud.
At least one or the other has to happen though.

Somewhat disappointing I wanted him back. At least he didn't go to Miami or Baltimore.

I'm getting a little nervous about the Bills. I think they have a great shot at beating us twice next year
