Only he hasn't really been so...the only message it sends anyone is that some of those in a jilted fanbase haven't moved on.

Look, the kid's nickname in college was Gotti, his teamates call him the rookie, Ghost is actually something of a burdensome tag for a kid replacing a legend. What happens if he disappears when he's needed the most...

Adam's teamates always called him...Adam. I imagine soon they will begin to call his replacement Steven. Lobel fuels this poop with his inebriated babbling about Adam and Leave only because he's always thought it was sooooo cleaver of him to fixate on that. And you know what, eventually he left.

But the fans (almost) always called him "Automatic" Adam. I went to a Pats/Jets game a couple of years ago ('03) and the Jets fans were calling him that.

I like "Ghost" because he's growing up in the shadow of the only other kicker (probably) to make it to the HOF. Those are big shoes to fill but I think he'll become a Pats fixture in the upcoming years!
