Just got a text from David Garrard telling me he's now a Miami Dolphin

The Dolphins are the new Bills.

Tebow: Jaguars or Bust

(or the Pats :D )

What would the Jaguars do with Gabbert if they signed Tebow? Trade him? Release him?

hahahahahahahahahahahahahha

If they're smart, they bring in a veteran backup like A.J. Feeley and have a demoted third-string Gabbert pick his brain. Gabbert is still too raw to be an NFL starting quarterback.

Chad Henne says "Hey! Don't forget about me!"

The Phins don't really think they've addressed QB with this move do they?

I mean seriously - they have to be thinking of Garrard as the backup QB, don't they?

RT @JeffDarlington: Source says Garrard will compete for job "if he's healthy, gets full offseason program under his belt." So depth, for now

You've got to feel sorry for Dolphins fans (I know). They've gone from:

We're in the Luck race to..
We can trade up for RGIII to...
Manning's been released and management want to sign him to...
Oh well at least Matt Flynn's still available to...
As a fall back option, at least alex Smith showed something last year to...

Oh crap. David Garrard.

Culpepper's signing years ago just came dancing into my head as memories of dumb ass moves by the Dolphins.

First Duante Culpepper over Drew Brees and now David Garrard over Matt Flynn or trying harder for Manning :bricks:

For those who think Kraft is cheap you must be sentenced to be a Dolphins fan for a minimum of one year and endure the way Ross spends his money 'wisely'

Yeah - backup... I mean everyone gets to compete, but I don't think they're really kidding themselves.

Sounds like they're resigned to letting mediocre QBs battle it out in camp. That might get them a mediocre season but not much more.

The sad truth in the NFL is that it's a game that really requires an elite QB and a bit of good luck to get to and win the Super Bowl. That's precisely why the Colts sucked for Luck in a semi-gamble that he'll be an elite franchise QB for the next 15 years, and why even an injured older Manning is still such a hot commodity.

this just makes me laugh my ass off. i can picture aqua4ever giving himself a full face palm sitting on the edge of his bed in his dolphin boxer shorts crying his eyes out.:D

Oh sh*t! We are f***ed!

I suppose they get a QB who missed last season with injury after all!

I think they draft Tannehill at #8. They didn't really make a big play for Flynn, even though Philbin was his OC in GB, so I think they are looking towards the draft. Tannehill's head coach at Texas A&M was Mike Sherman who is now the OC of the Phins, so they would have as good a feel for him as any team. He is too raw to start early, so a couple of vets fighting it out for a year or two makes sense. Either way, I don't think Miami is going to be competitive in the next year or two. They probably should go all out in the Blow for Barkley sweepstakes.

The doofins just got instantly better.......BWAHAHAHA....sorry I couldn't hold back the biting sarcasm there....seriously who's making their football personnel decisions there......JLO???

The only mistake you made here is the "you've got to feel sorry for the dolphin fans"....F them!!! I live in S. Florida and the "true" dolphin fans are an obnoxious bunch of a-holes. Not as bad as jest fans...but still obnoxious ....I for one am loving all these blunders!
