In other words, no change since before free agency started. It just means BB has more flexibility to go BPA and not reach.

Well.... I'd say that they've taken TE off the list at the OL situation may be fixed for now but, other than that, I'm with you.

Between Slater, White, and Cole we may have the best ST tackling unit in the NFL

If Castillo signs here, I think that's another need off the list, between he and Fanene.

This kid has worked hard to get to where he is ... I bet he's here at least 5-6 years as a ST and sometimes DB. Our punting team needs a boost for sure - was one of the things that hurt us in the Super Bowl.

Couple reasons I like the move...

1. The guy can tackle.

2. Blue collar player that knows what hard work is and has been determined.

3. Knows the enemy (Jets, Bills, Fins)

4. Sat behind two above average corners in Revis and Cromartie.

Not saying this guy is a starter or Pro Bowler, but I am saying this guy is going to contribute whether in practice or during a game. And in a game is inches, one play is all it takes to going from champion to chump.

I already like the kid...from reading his twitter timeline.

If this signing means the end for undertalented, try-hard stiffs Mal Williams, Sergio Brown & Ross Ventrone,
then I like it.

Two things I noticed scanning Jet's boards about this guy.

1. They are pissed that the Jets let him go, and especially to their main rival.
2. The say he is the most entertaining Tweeter of any Jet's player, or was, I should say.

I also read that he may be the best "gunner" in the league. While I don't know if that is true, you have to admit that BB takes Special Teams very seriously, if his week one FA signings are any indication.

I wish he would get around to acquiring a kick returner, then.

Anyone with great special teams skills threatens sergio brown's spot.

Per Mike Reiss, Cole's contract is a one-year deal with a base salary of $615,000.
