Two prolific offenses in Patriot History.
07 and 11

11 is returning almost entirely entact OL still might lose one or two guys and BJGE AND Branch are still out there.

OK 07 isnt truly there more of a poor mans version with Lloyd playing the Moss role and Stallworth trying to better his own role (which was eventually overtaken by Stallworth but shh). Welker is still here.

The Mad Scientist in Josh McDaniels to cook it all up. oh man oh man Oh man.

Lloyd Lines up to the top of your screen with Welker on his inside.
Stallworth lines up on the bottom of your screen with Hernandez and Gronk on his inside. Gallery, Solder, and Vollmer = 9,000 lbs of blocking

I know 5 wide is exciting, but considering we usually play in 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB sets, I don't think your scenario is very likely.

Likely scenario:

Lloyd - Welker TGCGT Gronk Hernandez

---------------Brady Ridley

OR

Lloyd - Welker TGCGT Gronk Stallworth

---------------Brady Hernandez

The latter is probably the more terrifying option.

EDIT:

God forbid if we get Tebow:

Lloyd - Welker TGCGT Gronk Stallworth

---------------Brady Tebow

Not really...it will still be like last years offense with just better options on the outside.

Moss is Moss.

I like that they can run Hernandez out of the backfield, but I don't want that to be a regular thing. I want Vereen or Ridley to emerge as an explosive and reliable back. I want to see Lloyd, Welker, Gronk, Hernandez, and Ridley/Vereen, and run the no-huddle. Out of that set, they can run everything the Pats want to do. Everything. And there will *always* be a mismatch to exploit. The D will have to cover every square inch of defensive turf. As long as the OL holds up and Brady stays healthy, this team is going to be a juggernaut offensively.

I mean, more than it normally is, even.
