Trade down.

I vote for Mark Barron - S - Alabama. Our safety play was horrific last year. Don't want Landry if he wants more than a year. I would kick Ihedigbo, Barrett and Brown to the curb. Don't like any of them. I do like a couple of other players too; Still, Perry and Konz. But, Barron is my choice. Maybe Still or Perry fall to 31.

Vote for Stephen Hill. WR not an immediate need but it is for the future, this kid is my binky as well :D

I feel the sky is the limit with him, my vote would of gone to Fletcher Cox. Not a big fan of Barron, seems redundant to Chung.

I'd take Still, no question.

Mark Barron- fills a big need

Devon Still would be my pick.

And Mogamedogz, Cox is a great pick for Houston, by far the BPA. The only reason he fell that far, and people don't wan't Houston to take him is because he is the biggest Binky on the board (except for Derek Wolfe).

Trade down. Don't like Barron, Hill, Still, or Worthy at the end of the 1st. The correct move would've been trading into the early 20s when both Jenkins and Wright were available.

Jenkins and Wright? Who needs a couple of 180lb football players. Where's the beef? Trade up for F. Cox or C. Upshaw.

I don't understand why Still isn't more highly rated. He's going to be a very, very good player. He's a perfect fit at 34 DE. When his technique is on, he's fantastic. He just needs consistency. Still is my number one choice anyway, so this is a no-brainer.

Trade down. While safety is still a big need the class isn't that strong. I'd wait until next year and take a hard look at Earl Wolff or Baccari Rambo.

That consistency is the biggest problem. 3-4 DE in the Pats' scheme isn't a position where you can get away with inconsistency. It's hard to put him out there if you don't know that he's going to do his best, because on that play where he's just a little relaxed and comes off the ball high, he's going to get pancaked, allowing an OL to go pick up a linebacker that he wasn't supposed to get to, and then the RB picks up an extra 10 yards.

The more I look at and read about Kendall Reyes from UConn, the more I like.

I think he'd be my choice here.

My vote goes for Mark Barron S Alabama.

Chung can play FS or SS and BB doesn't really like to designate one or the other. Barron has show he can cover and play in the box. We have the luxury of letting him heal and if for some reason Welker isn't signed to a long term deal and we have to Tag him again next year we may not be able to resign Chung in FA.

I'd still draft him anyway. Those little things like pad-level and such are very easy to coach up. Phil Taylor had the same problems coming out of college and it only took one shortened TC to fix them. How consistent was JPP in college? If you want elite players without drafting in the top 10, then you have to take elite talent when it's there and trust your coaching to fix the issues.

Seriously..Mike Adams???

Barron

He is my BPA at a position of need.

I too would probably trade down expecting to get Crick or Reyes at 31.

Jared Crick-Is a BB guys. Can play anywhere on the line, he is coming off a season ending injury wouldnt be shocked to see him go 27. his 2010 season was up there with Suhs. He also had his best season when Suh left.

The problem with Crick is he showed up at the combine at 279lbs, which is way too small to play DE in a 3-4. If they stay with a 4-3 base I wouldn't mind him, but if we return to a 3-4 I think he simply doesn't fit. I like him as a player, but not as a fit. I think he ends up going mid-late 2nd round as a 4-3 LDE.

David Wilson RB he can pass block catch and run and he's fast a every down back is what the pats need or Michael Brockers DT a big body next to Wilfork would help the run defense and the pass rush
