They were one of the huge pieces in todays win. Personally, the offensive line to me had the best performance of the evening. Tons of people played good. Defense, ST, Offense (Eventually).

But how bout dem recievers? They get no respect. "The worst recieving core in the NFL". Jabar with two straight 100 yard games, Reche bites his former team in the ass with the TD and then beating the SD CB down the sideline setting up the Ghosts game winner!

And best of all, Troy Brown. The Play of the game with the strip, bails us out! Troy, please stay another year!!!!!!!!!!!

DaBruniz, Jackson didnt play from what I saw though the camera showed him on the sidelines a few times.

Oh yeah. Caldwell goes without saying. I never saw Jackson take a snap.

it still blows my mind Gaffney was on the street during the season.

This offense is only gonna get better. I'd liek to see Dave Thomas a little more involved in the apss offense, he has better hands than watson.

Watson need to work on the jugs over the summer.

Gaffney -- 18 receptions for 207 yds in two playoff games.

If both continue to work hard (and all signs say they will), an off-season with Brady will do wonders. Hopefully, we'll have a trio of Florida wideouts with Jackson in the mix.

Gaffney was a great pickup, I am glad we gave him a 2 year deal, now we have him signed for cheap next season along with Caldwell. They both played great.

Yeah, Gaffney was a great pickup. But Reche was the pickup of the offseason. When I originally saw the ESPN news thing on the bottom of the TV while on vacation in Florida, it said Pats sign Reche Caldwell. I was just like, WHO? Every other team was out having a jolly old time throwing money at various free agents.

These guys are the real deal. The Pats literally stayed in the same, or similar, sets the entire game. Jackson and Kight both didn't play a snap on offense. Not quite sure what that means, but I think they felt having a veteran presence (Troy) along with an extra blocker (Tight ends) was more important than playing the rookies!

Yes I know. Gaffney has more receptions in the postseason than in the regular season.

Now that he is totally assimilated into the offense - and now that Brady seems extremely comfortable with him - why can't Gaffney be considered a possible #1? He's had two straight weeks of 10+ catches.

Let's not exaggerate about 40 combine times for Reche and Jabar.
