ok let's see double LL's now.
Patriots sign Lloyd, Landry, Landry's next reported visit is the Jet's you know BB would love to not allow that trip to happen.

I'm not 100% sure why, but I like this move.
The key is whether "healthy' is temporary for him and his history means he is an injury waiting to happen, or whether his history is a bunch of bad luck.
Certainly nothing to lose.

Injury prone, not productive at all the last few years. As long as he is cheap, then he's ok as your 4th WR but I assume this won't be the only deal.

If he's healthy he's probably better than Deion or Ocho.

Welker, Lloyd, rookie, Gonzalez, Edelman, Slater.

Seems like he was starting to blossom until injuries derailed him. An academic all american in college hopefully means he's smart enough to pick up the offense. Hope this signing has nothing to do w/ Lloyd negotiations. Assuming he came on the cheap. An upgrade to Edelman, Ocho and Underwood. Possibly better than Branch will be in 2012.

Looks like we have now all the victims of fudging Bernard Pollard's victims.

Apparently a member of mensa.

Assuming the deal is cheap and Pats-friendly, I'm all for this. He's got experience working in the slot and outside in a complex offense.

Hope this doesn't mean we hit a big rut with Lloyd.

Wow has there ever been more of a NFL villian, seriously the guys is fricking Keyzer sose of the league.

Talking about Pollard.

Someone on PFW In Progress suggested trading for Pollard just to avoid ruining yet another one of our seasons. What's rather disconcerting is that we're playing Baltimore in the regular season, and I'm not looking forward to another Pollard induced injury...

6', 193 lbs, 27 years old. This team may end up being scary when all is said an done.

Definitely don't hate this signing....I remember he killed us a couple times before his career got derailed by injuries. He had 4.40 speed before the injuries, so I'd be interested to see how fast he is now. If he can come anything close to that type of speed, it'd be an upgrade for us ASSUMING he can stay healthy.

**** that, I don't want him hitting our players every practice. We'll have no one left by season's end.

Brandon Lloyd - Yes
Laron Landry - No

Draft Mark Barron in the first round or Harrison Smith in the second round and resolve the strong safety depth issue once and for all.

As for Anthony Gonzalez, I hope he can stay healthy since recently that has not been the case.

We should sign Pollard, just to keep him from hurting patriots..

I mean, if Gronk was not hurt, we may have won the SB... =:((
