Per Breer the deal is done.

I can't wait to see the cost of someone with 32 choices to live ending up in Buffalo NY.

ESPN is reporting it too. I am really shocked by his decision. He could've gotten comparable money from a team that is already established, or at least much closer than the Bills are.

Anyways, good for the Bills. He is a beast and their defense just improved a great deal.

On a crappy team, no less. They must have paid him a king's ransom and then some.

I think when the money comes out we will see the Bills blew everyone out of the water. To not even visit any other team I think he must have known that no team was even going to come close to that. So as long as he was comfortable in the city its an easy decision for him.

Where is that poster who was for sure it was not about the money for Mario, it was about playing for a contender and winning...

It's always about the money.

Oh well.
I hope he misses 14 more games over the next two seasons again.:(

I hate to admit it but this is a good move by the Bills. Wish our team had considered it.

I think Julius Peppers' deal was 6 years and around $92 million. I wonder if Williams is going to eclipse $100 million (ESPN says the deal is for 6 years).

I don't believe that it's always about the money. But in this case, it certainly was. So much for Mario claiming it wasn't! Hey Mario, don't be surprised if you end your career never having played in a playoff game!

$50mil guaranteed according to Glazer

Congratulations to Toronto!

Buffalo has been experiencing gd global warming like most of the northeast for the last month or more. Wait 'til mother nature makes the correction and he and the fiance find out they're living in siberia next september...

Peppers was 84 I think.
Williams will get at least 20% more IMO

The good news is that he can't possibly terrorize Brady any more than Aaron Bleepin' Schobel did.

To be fair to the guy, I don't think you could blame him for not turning down this much money.

Congratulations to Toronto!

Hes losing a penny for every US Dollar spent in Canada. Maybe another 500k oughta cover it. :D.

NY and CAN tax rate is kinda close.

Shoulda went to the 'Fins.

Can't judge the quality of the purchase without knowing the price.

Who says our team didn't consider it? If you think he wasn't negotiation with other teams while he was sitting in Buffalo, you are naive.

The old coots of the league are blowing up everyone's salary structure on the heels of a new CBA and before the new TV deals kick in because the grim reeper is closing in on them.

6 years $96mil

Probably not a great time to break it too you then

Agent 29 ‏ @DraytonFlorence
I talked to Aaron Scobel last also considering coming out of retirement for one year just thought I should mention
