Wow, Buffalo is going big or going home. I feel good for the loyal Bills fans though, now they at least should have a legitimate team to watch. Still don't know if Fitzpatrick is the guy or not...Still the 2nd best QB in the division though.

When did Meachum become this big catch? Getting Williams would be huge, but Meachum had 627 yards in a year his QB broke the all time passing yards record.

Meachum is a back up WR who might be a good #2 or might just be a product of Brees and all his weapons giving him favorable match ups. I still don't get when Meachum became a top WR in free agency.

Williams has played SIXTEEN games the past two seasons....and now people want the Pats to pay him the biggest salary ever in NFL history for a defensive player??

averaging 8 games a season the last TWO? Like he's suddenly going to turn back the clock and miracle himself into perfect physical shape?

You had time to read about Buffalo, and time to post about it, but you didn't have time to read a thread title called "The Sanctioned FA 4PM Tracker Thread (merged)" to figure out that something that had clearly been going on since before your arrival might already have a place on the board?

I don't think Meachum can't be a good deep specialist or possibly even a #2 WR. But people are starting to act like the guy is Vincent Jackson. He was like 6th or 7th on my list of WRs I wanted the Pats to target because I didn't think he could be more than a #3 WR on this team and would cost too much.

As for Williams, he is leaving Buffalo without a contract. Odds are not good that he will be back. Typically if a player leaves a team's facilities, he isn't coming back. Every potential suitor now knows what the Bills are offering and if Williams is visiting them, they are at least willing to consider matching or beating the offer.

Don't underestimate the scouting prowes of fantasy football players in Wackamo Falls Wisconsin.

I have a feeling the Patriots missed their opportunity to grab a legitimate beast when Peppers went to Chicago. I'd love to see the Pats manage to swing a trade for Jared Allen. He's one of high motor guys who brings it on every play. Pair him with Wilfork.

Williams although a nice addition and super player is not a player you blow the salary cap structure on.
