MEH ..........

Good hard working guy .....

In what regard? He didn't work hard on the field- lots of time he'd trail the play comfortably. The guy hates contact.

I can only recall one time of him making a play, that interception against the Bengals in the season opener.

Then again, Mayo isn't exactly lighting up the stats sheet with game-changing plays either...

thanks god, is right. Guyton was NEVER good for us, he was just the best we had. Fletcher is a million times more productive. And when Spikes is healthy, there's just no need.

I appreciated his picks and the plays he made. Glad to see that the Patriots finally have better options at LB in 2012. Good luck, Gary.

I think this pretty much sums it up for me too.

While Guyton lacked in certain areas for sure, I wish him well in his career endeavors--post NEP.

And I'm glad that we have better options and depth at the position as well, but no hard feelings or superficial 'hate' for Guyton from me.

He sure was productive in the Super Bowl this yr, wasn't he?

No, I'm just kidding. I like Fletcher a lot.

Guyton is very likeable, and he was thrown to the wolves as a UDFA in 2008 and survived. My god, he is fast, but hey, he never had the pedigree of Mayo or Spikes, so it was only a matter of time with Fletcher emerging. Best wishes.

Glad to see not all people have tunnel vision.

Shame it never worked out for the guy. Saw flashes but it was never sustained. For a while it looked like he might pan out as a solid rotational guy. He was asked to do a lot out of the gate and he answered the call...for all those who would like to assume he wasn't a grafter. He was undersized and put in tough spots when asked to fill in.

Damn some of you guys have narrow minded and short memories...were any of you watching in 2009 when he was starting every game and even had to fill in at MLB for a few games? Wasn't our greatest year as a team but it wasn't terrible either. Can't believe anyone would have the nerve to question his work ethic.

Guyton is yet another one of those guys who flashed strong ability and then faded. I always wonder why players like that can't muster consistency.

The rap on him coming out of college is that he's a football dummy......lack the ability to process what is happening quickly

True, but once opposing offenses had film on him and knew he was in there, they abused him......out of place too many times
