ok he talks the talk but to steal a line from a local legend will he Walk This Way :D

He's my choice for FA WR, and has been since McDaniels came back.

Sign Lloyd
Re-sign Branch
Re-structure Ocho
Maybe draft a kid if it falls right

Go into camp with:

Welker
Lloyd
Branch
Ocho
Underwood
Rookie
Possible UDFA

And let them all battle it out for four or five spots

Someone is going to challenge NE for Lloyd's services such as KC or maybe N.O....it won't be a slam dunk.

New Orleans could lose one of their WR's to free agency, but I think inking Brees has to be their #1 prioity.

Make it happen!

If we can sign this guy to a 2 or 3 year contract averaging 5-6 a mil a year, i'll cream my pants. Guy sounds like he has really matured in the NFL and seems to be saying all the right things to wind up in N.E. Oh...and he has beasted under Mcdaniels:rocker:

McDaniels is a pretty huge leg up- the only way he doesn't end up here, IMO, is if someone else pretty much blows away the Pats' offer.

I don't know about that. Lloyd has kinda painted himself into a corner in terms of what teams might be interested. I don't know if many or any teams will make a serious run at him because everyone knows he wants to play for the Pats.

I think it's a perfect match. Make it happen Pats. He should be able to pick up the offense pretty quickly, hopefully he's no Ocho Cinco.

Sign the beast!

Sign him and focus on the D.

Either that or if BB doesn't want him. Not trying to be a party pooper or anything but how do we even know Bill is interested in this guy? I know we need an outside threat at WR but maybe Bill has someone else in mind to fill that spot.

Even better, he already knows the offense.

I'd rather them just sign Mario Williams and Welker, and trade up and draft Floyd or a 1st round WR.

I'm going to keep banging this drum, but i'm going to keep hoping,
Sign LLoyd, Mario Williams, Vincent Jackson or, trade for Mike Wallace,
draft Nick Perry, Brian Quick, Stephen Gilmore,
In this scenario, Benjarvis Walks, Mark Anderson walks, Koppen walks, Welker is traded or signs a contract before the start of free agency, Ellis walks, Carter is brought back on a incentive laden contract, Connelly is resigned at about 1.8 million a year for about 3 years, Faulk retires, surprise cuts, Deon Branch, Light retires, or is cut, With the boost to the salary cap spot this is entirely possible, we just would need Mario and Brandon to take a contract well below contract level, If Welker is traded let's say a team like Seattle adds Manning and gives us a third this year and a second next year I think that's the kind of compensation we would receive if the 2 sides can't come together on a contract.

This and retaining Welker, would be my dream offseason, i'd like to see at least 2 of the moves on this list come to fruition.

I was kind of alluding to that. He probably doesn't know it exactly, but probably knows 90% of it.

Cause he played at a pro bowl level for McD and he loves the guy....;)
