Lot's of talk as to where The Forehead will be playing next year. So let have a poll and see if there is consensus as to where he will land.

Hey now, that's not very nice. He was a baby when he started his career but he eventually became a man. Since he's not a threat anymore I kind of root for him now. It would bring me joy to see the Colts fans watch him do well somewhere else.

I hope he doesnt go to the Jests with that being said i really enjoyed the Brady Manning games alot this past decade. I find it funny that the jests think Sanchez is better than Manning i really hope Tanny thinks that to cause i dont want to see Manning in our division.

Seattle

Paul Allen, Pete Carroll, some talent on both sides of the ball

That's where he'll end up.

According to this (How to spend the Niners $33.8 million in cap space - Inside the 49ers), the 49ers have $33.8 million in cap space.

They already have a very good running game and the best defense in the NFL. They also have a tremendous tight end in Vernon Davis. They made the NFC Championship Game this past season with Alex Smith at QB.

What they don't have is a big-time QB or a big-time WR. They have enough money to get both this offseason.

(1) Sign Peyton Manning to about $15-16 million a year, 2-3 years. That's probably about what Peyton can expect at the most, given his neck.

(2) Sign Mike Wallace. Yes they lose their 1st round pick. Or just sign VJax, either way.

(3) Re-sign Goldson.

Then they keep their top-ranked defense, and their offense looks like this:

QB - Manning
RB - Gore
WR - Wallace/VJax, Ginn, Crabtree
TE - Davis

I mean, holy crap, that team suddenly is unbelievably scary.

Sign him in NE and switch QBs back and forth between Brady and Manning every other snap.

Imagine the concern of every defender having to play against this

Houston and SF should make a push for him. They have superior defense and very good offensive talent. Either is the SB favorite by adding him. I think the Redskins will be willing to throw the most money at him. If Miami gets him they are a very scary team. I see Peyton as being smart enough to avoid the nightmare that is the Jets. Arizona should be an interesting option for him.

Miami or Arizona IMHO

Has a house in Miami and lets face it with the money he's got who wouldn't want to live there

ZERO chance the Texans are signing him.

They absolutely love Matt Schaub down there and probably would have made HFA with him in there.

Unless Manning wants to sit on the bench,Schaub is the Texans starting QB.

My REALISTIC choices for Manning are in order of likelihood....
Miami,Seattle,Minnesota,Arizona,Cleveland,NY Jets.

I actually think he is going to be a Seattle Seahawk when its all said and done...The Seahawks are a good QB away from being a dangerous team.

Josh McDaniels introduces: the NFL's first dual Hall of Fame quarterback backfield. Imagine the confusion on the faces of opposing defenders (and Chad Ochocinco) as BOTH Brady and Manning call signals simultaneously while fans guess who gets the snap.:singing::confused::singing::eek:

Manning should go to Miami. It's good football when the Patriots gets to play him twice a year again and imagine the Jets have to face both Brady and Manning in a 1/4 of their season.

I voted Arizona, but I think it could just as easily be Miami. My money is on one of those two.

Don't rule out the Jets trying desperately to sign Manning while Sanchez sits and watches what a real QB can do with a football.

If Sanchez is ever going to amount to more than a future backup journeyman when his current contract expires,he needs guidance from the best of the league and Manning is the guy to teach him.

Imagine if the Jets sign Manning and then pick up Moss ...that would be a very interesting thing in the AFC East....Miami could do the same thing.

The Jets are in cap trouble so it probably wouldn't happen anyway.

They could trade Shaub and still have Yates as a backup. Shaub is a decent QB but he's not in that upper class and he's been very injury prone.

Seattle and Cleveland don't have the offensive talent that he'll want. Maybe they sign Wayne as well to entice him but as of now I don't see those as happening.

According to Jet fans, they will restructure a ton of contracts to free up $$ to sign who they need. There is no cap problem in Jetland.

SSDY with them..Tanny is a cap genius....:rocker:

I could see Randy Moss getting picked up by whoever signs Manning and Seattle could be the place for both of them.

I would actually love to see if Moss would dog his way and take plays off another season if Manning was throwing the ball deep to him.

SF and Miami probably make the most sense. The Chiefs would also make sense, but I don't see him staying in the mid-west.

The Redskins will probably offer him the most money. We'll see whether that's more important than winning, because going to Washington would mean that he has to face both the NY and Dallas front sevens twice a year, and that's not a recipe for longterm success when you're coming off a major neck injury.

I voted SF because they would be idiots to not make a strong push for him and frankly if he wants another ring it would be the best option with their great defense, great running game, and god awful division. IF he goes to Miami he still had to face the Pats twice a year and the Jets and Bills are better than any team in the NFC west right now except SF.

Really? Schaub's not even healthier. Is he a better qb? Please.
