Watch out for Cheap shots.
I never liked Fisher and always believed his team played dirty.
This issue in New Orleans has me 100% sure now that he did it as well.

Bet his team wil be watched closer this year.

I have always thought that the d-bag Fisher had a bounty on Rodney Harrison the year they took him out and Fisher just grinned.

The worse thing we as fans can do now is lose the love for some of the hard hits in a football game by thinking they were all bounty set to maim.

Thinking a player got paid to intentionally hurt a Patriots player would make watching the NFL not enjoyable anymore.

I refuse to let today's news become something that we think of throughout the league.....this bounty pool was the result of a maniac named Gregg Williams and since Williams will probably be indefinitely suspended by Goodell I wouldn't worry about it.

London Town...

...Ugh will the Rams be making pounds for suspect hits?

I'm not too worried. I don't see a scenario in which Gregg Williams is allowed to coach this year. I think it's more likely that he never coaches in the NFL than that he coaches this year.

I believe it, Dungy said they had one on Manning:

Dungy: Titans had a bounty on Peyton Manning

Tony Dungy of NBC’s Football Night in America tells PFT that he believes the Titans had put a bounty on Manning.

“I know they had them in Tennessee,” Dungy said via text.

Williams worked for the Oilers/Titans through 2000 under coach Jeff Fisher. Dungy became coach of the Colts in 2002, when a realignment of the divisions put the Colts and Titans in the newly-created AFC South, pitting the two teams against each other twice per season.

I'm sure that's how Fisher rolled.

Besides, you don't get 22-27 players on one team participating in something if it wasn't at least somewhat widespread around the league. I'd like to put my head in the sand and think this was the only incident in the NFL, but I'd strongly consider hearing out a case for Jeff Fisher doing it in Tennessee.

Me, too. First thought I had when reading about this story is about Rodney and the Fisher grin.

There won't be any elevated risk of cheap shots here. Even if Williams is somehow not suspended at the time, his team would be under a microscope

Yeah, Williams if he is lucky will only get a year's suspension. Even if he did, there is no way Fisher or anyone else would allow him to do a bounty system.

Yes, we play them in London which sucks because since I thought it would be in St. Louis I was going to go to the game, so I was very bummed to find out it was in London

I'd worry about the 49ers instead... those guys are animals

Terrell Suggs admitted that the Ravens had bounties on Rashard Mendenhall and Hines Ward too, back in 2008. This is absolutely a widespread thing.

I loved Rodney, he played man-size football. But the truth is he blew out Trent Greens knee with a cheap shot. That one hit introduced Kurt Warner to the league and subsiquently the Hall of Fame. I wonder if Kurt would buy Rodney a drink for it....

And the Titans ended Shawne Merriman's relevance too. Dirty, dirty team

Hopefully the lovely folks in London get to see "Lambs to the slaughter" in Oct 2012.
