Mods should change the title to unofficial. Dues incorrectly used official, but I'm sure it was a honest mistake.

I'm starting to think James Ihedigbo will be starting opening day at FS. A 2nd-3rd rookie in a piss poor class won't beat him out, and the safety market is dry.........

There's not a snowball's chance in hell this happens, IMO. BB knows dig ain't going to cut it just as well as the rest of us.

Mods should remove the quotes from "official" in the thread title, just to piss certain terrible posters off.

Eh, even if he doesn't start on opening day I'm sure he will eventually. Ching getting injured is pretty much a lock it seems.

Oh, I Agree and I hope not, I wasn't saying that in a positive light lol. But really, with Tyvon Branch & Dashon Goldson tagged, a terrible FS class in the draft, what is left?

Mark Barron could be okay, I think.

Maybe Michael Griffin.

I'd rather say screw it and move McCourty to FS permanently than endure another year with Dig starting at safety.

It'd appear Griffin would be the best option, but it may be tough to land him, being the #1 safety now on the market.

Dwight Lowery played good for the Jaguars at FS, everyone else is just bad out on the market.

If we draft a CB in round 1 or 2 I could see the permanent Mccourty switch as you say.

The thread's official, not the tags.

Yes, but Dues isn't in a position of power to make anything official. Its not a huge deal, just pointing out his mistake because it may cause confusion for some members.

Only you, evidently.

Thanks for doing this, Deus, an important thread.

On the news side, was just told the Saints have placed the franchise tag on QB Drew Brees.

Nicks and Colston both likely hitting the market.

Interesting that Brees wouldn't work out a deal to allow them to keep someone else with the tag. I wonder if there is some type of collusion among the 3, since Brees was staying any way and the other 2 wanted to test the market.
