Well guys, game day is here. All the yapping about who has a better defense, who was hurt more by injuries, whose coach will do a better job, if the young QB can handle the pressure, the lack of respect and all the other topics are about done. It's time to play. I think this game will ultimately end up decided by how most games are - who controls the line of scrimmage and turnovers.

I'm about ready to leave for the game where I'll be cheering for my beloved Bolts. So here is to a clean, hard fought game with no injuries. And I think we can all agree we don't want the game hinging on a call from a ref!

Good luck guys!

Bad luck to you guys, too.
I'm going to be watching the line play today as usual, too. I think this game will hinge on that more than anything else, like all good games are.

GO PATS!
CRUSH THE CHARGERS! :eat3: :eat2: :cool2:

Good luck to you. No injuries please. GO PATS!!!

Hey, cheers, a toast and a clink to everyone having a good time.

Let's have a great game and have NO INJURIES!

Here! Here! Good luck to you patriots and definately no injuries.

no injuries, great officiating, and now excuses to a hard fought game.. let th e players play.

I wish your team luck, just not as much as ours ;)

Seriously, should be a good one. I hope we see some injury free, smash mouth football. May the best team win.

Classy post and thanx, I agree with you.

I am disappointed with the handful of trash-talking Chargers fans who showed up, but what I am about say isn't directed to them. If you are one of the SD assclowns don't read any further because I'm not talking to you, you can go to the visitor's forum where I never go.

Now on to my post. I probably respect the Chargers and their fans more than just about any other team. They built their team the right way and probably resemble the Pats in philosophy more than any other team. They don't whine, they don't lobby for rule changes, they built their team with smart, hard-working, high-character players (for the most part), and let their play do their talking, just like the Pats.

They have class players like LT and avoid the jerks like TO. They parlayed their #1 pick into Phillip Rivers and Shawn Merriman with a brilliant trade and stuck it to the Manning family...always a good thing.

Here is to a hard-fought, clean, flag-free, injury-free game that does not get decided by a controversial call...hopefully with the Pats coming out on top.

The reason why we even need to mention the game not being decided by a controversial call is directly due to Bill Polian's rules meddling which has made a farce of the passing game, and has brought the referees more into the limelight than they ever were before, or indeed ever should have.

Damn you Bill Polian for damaging the game I love!

In closing, there is one thing that I think Pats and Chargers fans can both agree with. The NFL is better off when the Colts tactics are not rewarded, and whoever wins today needs to finish this business and send the Colts home where they belong.

Let's get it on!

I'm not a "good luck to the opponent" kind of guy. The best I can say is I'll be rooting for the Chargers next week if they're playing the Colts.
