Sometimes I'm convinced Vegas knows something. Sometimes I'm convinced that something is that people are suckers.

According to the good folks at Bovada.lv [formerly Bodog], Randy Moss has 5:1 odds to win Comeback Player of the Year for 2012.

Even "better," here is how they list the odds for the team with which he'll make that comeback:

-- Chicago Bears: 7/2
-- Washington Redskins: 5/1
-- San Francisco 49ers: 5/1
-- New York Jets: 11/2
-- St. Louis Rams: 7/1
-- Dallas Cowboys: 10/1
-- Philadelphia Eagles: 10/1

Oh, wait. I missed a team.

-- New England Patriots: 5/2

 :( :bricks:

Place Your Bets: Patriots favorites to land Moss

I just don't see it happening. If I am wrong Ill eat a serious amount of crow but I just don't see it.

It would have already happened during the 2011 season if it was ever going to. We kinda needed a downfield threat and still didn't go after him.

Only if he can convince BB and TB that he is truly back on his meds now and learned his lesson.

I can deff see it happening

Why wouldn't Bob Kraft bet 10,000,000 on the Patriots then sign Moss to a 500,000 contract and make a profit of 24,500,000?

The Pats offered him a contract. He didn't take it.

Because Woody Johnson is also going to be 10,000,000 and then he and Kraft are going to get into a bidding war.

I wish there were odds on Randy not signing with a team. I'm guessing that's be a good line.

I'll take the Eagles for 10-1 Alex

But what number would he wear?

I love Randy but we need to go after some fresh legs..

He'll probably end up in the UFL.

Only according to Chris Carter who isn't really close enough to either party to have a clue what they're doing.

Why? Its an active story in the offseason

It's been an active pre-season, in season, off season, story. :deadhorse:

But it seems like people keep wanting to unring the bell.

He's going to sign in New England. That has to be a story.
