Why does Pioneer Basement have a web page that you can log on to tell everyone how much you love basements?

In other late breaking news ,Terrell Owens has un-cried and swears he won't break down in public ever again...

I'm sure the Rams would love to have him.

well, then again Fisher has dealt with Moss before, so probably not. lol

Ha, he wasn't a problem in TN with Fisher, Vince Young was too busy being a snot nosed baby, supposedly Moss asked what he got himself into in Tennessee. Then again, they all said he was done.

Yeah, and if you saw him with the Titans you could see why, Randy looked slooooooooow

I love Randy he's my fav player ever but I'm not really a fan of going back to the past to fix future problems. Bottom line is last time the world saw Moss he didn't look like he belonged in the NFL.

I'll be honest, I bring him back. With him, Welker, Gron, AH on the field with Riddley (or Vereen who's makeup I like) this offense adds a whole new dimension. Randy doesn't need to beat double coverage, he'd just need to beat man coverage and occasionally pull the safeties deep. I think he can still do that if he's willing to accept the role. Keep Branch to work him in,and then draft a couple young guys with upside.

maybe ..he has learned his lesson.... that the grass isn't always greener on the other side ....

give him a shot ...replace ocho stinko with moss....

I did, he didn't look that bad, compared to the other guys TN had on the field. Then again aside from Kenny Britt, the talent falls off pretty good. Moss' time is done as far as being a Pat. Saw him mention he'd like to go to Buffalo or the Jets on twitter to one fan this past weekend.

Lloyd signed with Tom Condon (per Curran on twitter) which isn't good for us.

Moss was fine with McDaniels, he didn't get along with O'Brien.

I would be fine with signing Moss to go with Welker. Re-sign Branch as a backup. That's three.

Then we have to get serious about youth by bringing in two young WR whether they're both through the draft or one from the draft and one from FA.

Bottom line for me, we have to upgrade a WR spot - and if that's with Moss, fine - and we have to get younger which we will likely do in the draft.

Is McDaniels going to give Moss 25 year old legs. Moss is done. Time to move on. Would rather have Reggie Wayne than Moss.

Also, it doesn't matter who Lloyd's agent is. I don't think he is going to get a lot of play because he has had attitude problems and he can only perform in McDaniels' system. The Rams didn't get Lloyd in a trade for next to nothing for a reason.

Lloyd has had two good years and both with McDaniels. He didn't perform well early last season with the Broncos and rebounded when he was traded to the Rams.

I am ok with that plan.

The way I see it we have 3 spots that I would like to be "filled" (obviously TC and what kind of shape you come in matters) - Welker, Branch, Edelman. After that I bring back guys like Tiquan and low draft picks to fight in camp.

Leaving two spots to try and fill. I would be fine with Moss taking one though I would perfer Brandon Lloyd or something similar. The second empty spot needs to be the go for broke variety whether it is Reggie Wayne, Vjax, a first round pick I dont care, or something similar. (for the record I am not big on VJax because of off the field but thats the kind of talent I am looking for in that spot).

All this laid out and would rather see them go nuts on the D side of the ball but this is a WR thread.

Figured it has been awhile since we had a Moss thread. Anyhow, he just unretired on his ustream broadcast. If you follow his twitter you will know. Also, he cut off his hair. In case anyone is interested.

Thanks for the update lorijean.

If he's willing to sign for cheap and come into training camp and compete for a roster spot, then sure, that works.

I'm cool with them signing him, could have used him in the SB, even as a decoy. Sounds like he just misses the game and his stock is real low and seems things were relatively amicable when he left.

I would be upset if they sign him and he is the only so called "upgrade" to the position.

Moss unretired

Talk to Moss about what kind of shape he is in and take a look. If its a go, then offer him a league minimum. In the meantime, sign Welker and Lloyd and Moss could be a 3rd or 4th receiver and be clear about that from the start. One thing for sure, is the Pats would have great deep threats in both Lloyd and Welker.

Let's remember the Pats WR core is very thin right now and Moss could be a good, cheap one year addition. He already knows the Pats scheme with McDaniel and at least see what is possible.

lloyd, welker, moss, branch at WR
Gronk, Hernandez at TE
Benny/2nd years at RB

Done -- now use all draft picks on d
Bonus -- get ocho back for vet min -- give him the summer to learn the playbook

I would love to see the Jets or Bills sign Moss and waste a roster spot on a player that at his age becomes invisible when the game is on the line and dogs it once physicality comes into play.....Randy has had a fork stuck in him since mid 2009.

I hope either team signs him, that makes it easier on the Pats secondary to focus on real threats.

And OchoSucko hopefully signs with him

I think there are zero remaining personal reasons not to bring him back, especially after his classy response to Myra Kraft's death.

But his last season, he wasn't that good a player WITH THE PATRIOTS, one excellent catch against a gimped Revis notwithstanding. Unless he had a lingering issue he's since gotten over -- doubtful, since there hasn't been a single peep of a rumor about that I can recall -- I doubt he'd be very good 2 years later.
