The Patriot Way?

Not everyone partook, as QB Tom Brady wasn’t there and neither was Patrick Chung or Jerod Mayo...

You learn a lot about the players in defeat. :)

Gotta grieve somehow,

Wow, really?!?

To each his own, I guess...But partying after losing a Super Bowl...Uhhh, ok..

It was a long, hard fought season. Let them blow off steam.

Proof that these guys could give a fucck about the fans.

I'll say this, I know one guy ain't there and that is Brady.

I love it. These guys busted their tail ends off all year and deserve to celebrate their accomplishments. Good for them and congrats on a good season. Glad to see they are in good spirits and not keeping their heads down over this.

Life goes on, everyone moves on differently. Personally I'm a mourner but I'm confident Light, Gronk and whoever else was there wanted to win the game as badly as I wanted them to.

I told you guys this once before...this is a business not Madden...these guys are rich whether they win the Super Bowl or not.

Sure its nice to win a title for bragging rights but it does not change their lifestyle.

They did not go home and cry in their million dollar bed like some of you expected...I assure you that.

I don't like this, sorry. I understand different people deal with things in different ways but man....

Cripe, I know coaches and players that were on the 4 lost SB trips of the Bills. They did the same thing after every one. Doesn't mean they don't feel bad about losing.
Are they suppose to sit in their rooms and cry and type their sorrow on message boards?

Nothing to see here.

If Brady wasn't attached as a Father and Husband who knows?

Didn't they do that after they won an AFC championship????

Matt Light: "Damm, we just lost the Super Bowl, where can we go to take our shirts off and dance Gronk?"

Makes sense to me.

So none of you have ever gone out and partied after a hard day/week at work?

I would be doing the same thing if I were in their shoes.

I don't think I'd be dancing but I sure as hell would be drinking.

The sooner you guys realize this is a business much more than a game, the more you understand that most players are not going to be suicidal when they lose like fans are.

A cynic might say a great deal of fans on this board took the loss much harder than many of of the millionaire players.

I don't think this means anything.

When I was in college we'd go out even after losing, and even when we got knocked out of the playoffs. Not everybody -- I'm sure some just went home, some hung out with girlfriends or family -- but many guys would get together to have some beers, as the last thing we wanted to do was sit around our rooms and think about the loss.

And once you've out and have had a few, things aren't so bad, at least for a while. (No shirtless dancing, though -- that's wrong for other reasons. ;) )
