the collapse at indy and 16-0 were worse

not even close , and these recent sbs, you haven't even been blown out in

try watching a sb where you pretty much know your team is fn dead after the first series lol

heartbreak?..I've seen 3 championships in the past 11 years...Sure it hurts, but I still feel fortunate.

I feel like some rich guy crashed his bentley and we're supposed to console him about his tough life.

Iam as pissed as anyone but from 2002 to 2012 the pats have been in 5 of 10 superbowls. I mean a 50% rate. Stop and think how amazing it is compared to even a good team like the ravens or the saints or the packers. Heartbreak goes and comes around . Imagine how the ravens felt last week. We have had our share of luck .All we can ask for is a consistent program in NE which gives us a chance almost every yr.

Name one other franchise or fanbase that has been threw what we and the pats have.

would you rather be a lions or browns or a jets fan ?

they don't have our heartbreak 'cuz their seasons are over by week 4.
it's like breaking up with a girl after 2 dates.

to be fair to detroit, though, that looks to be turning around for them, at least.

I agree. I'm surprised why there are any Bills fans at all

This was nothing compared to 2007.

This was nothing compared to 2007.

I actually said this a while back: I gave up any expectations I had for this season during the lockout.

And I'd still take this result over, say, what happened to the JEST or the Packers.

It is always tough to end the season on a loss, but losing in the SB is not as bad as losing the AFCCG or even the division round. Last year I think stung more.

I imagine losing 4 consecutive superbowls is pretty heartbreaking, but bills fans would probably trade the last 4 years for that.

I'm just as disappointed as everyone else.
When we drove down the field before the half knowing we were getting the ball back I thought we were going to finish this thing out in spectacular fashion.

I wish Welker caught that ball...
Heart breaking...

But we shouldn't let ourselves get too down. We should remember that this team is honestly still in a state of rebuilding. How many teams go 14-2 and then 13-3 with a Superbowl appearance when they're rebuilding? It's actually quite incredible... and while that won't make us feel much better tonight, next season, when we get a deep threat and some corners (I hope) we'll be back to that team that everyone is terrified of.

I really wanted this win for Belichick and Brady. I thought we had them.
The Giants just seem like the luckiest team ever. All of those fumble recoveries, that safety, that pass in the 4th...

Next year we'll be terrifying.

What about the Eagles? The Eagles lost 4 NFCCG and a Super Bowl in a span of I think 8 years. They also were the biggest underachievers in the league in 2011.

And knowing that, that we're still in a state of rebuilding, i'm honestly less saddened by this loss as I am the anticipation of all the ESPN media talking jerks going on about how overrated Brady is or about how we only won with Spygate or any of that other garbage I could feel coming in the event of a loss since the AFC Championship game.

Screw 'em all. Next year we'll make them all pay.

2 good cornerbacks and a serious deep threat WR and we're in a position to go 19-0.

Not on the last drive like this though..

firstly i dont know how it feels to be a browns fan but as a red sox fan prior to 2004 iam sure we all know how hard it is .
secondly, would you rather root for a team knowing they are done after 4 weeks every yr or have a team which always has a chance to win or a heartbreak every yr.?
