The INT aside (which was a ridiculous catch by a linebacker who had concentration like a WR to make the play) he had 2 TD's and nearly 300 yards, if the run game wants to play whack and the D want to let things slip away time after time letting 30+ yard plays beat them all season that's not Brady's fault is it?

He played good Eli played good but the Giants receivers made plays and Wes couldn't make THE play that kills the game.

I'm sorry, I just can't agree with this. Not when the two mistakes he made were so devastating in so many ways.

Except for the two drives, he was pretty mediocre. You must be watching another game.

When the game was on the line Eli outplayed Brady. Again. A little lower to Welker and in front of Branch, and we likely win the game.

How so? The INT was inside their 10 yard line and to his best reciever that was dinged up and is a TE not a deep threat. Just because he threw it does that mean the D should automatically go and give up points??

Brady played bad in both SB's we lost.
We score 20+ and have 2 more rings.
Be real!

He just lobbed it up to his star tight end whom he must know is running on a deep pattern on one leg. The badly underthrown ball is then intercepted by the Giant's version of the Hurricane's Colin McCarthy: an inside linebacker so bad, it's only the relative competent talent around him that prevents him from being utterly exposed all game long (notice how he was roasted to a crisp on Hernandez's TD). That, in addition to the terrible, godawful, atrocious grounding for a safety, were certainly significant contributing factors in today's loss.

For portions of the game, Brady was masterful. Unfortunately, a few, consequential moments of ineptitude spoiled his overall brilliance.

It's about knowing the moment. If Brady just stays patient and puts together a surgical drive at SOME point after their opening drive in the second half, they win the game. Instead of heaving it in hopes that his CRIPPLED TE catches the ball? Come on. I don't care that some schmuck was covering; it's just a needless risk for that situation.

The thing that sticks is Brady made the same mistake virtually against Baltimore, and here he goes and does it again.

And let's be honest, the safety was just plain dumb. And maybe without it, the Giants don't even SCORE in the 1st half.

Brady played okay, but not good enough, and his mistakes caused huge turns of the tide in the Giants favor.

Why don't you blame special teams for backing Brady in his own endzone every single time? Did Mesko have 1 good punt to make them struggle, no he sucked.

What? What does Mesko have to do with Brady being deep? Mesko was fine, and the LAST thing wrong in this game.

No he didn't. Sterling Moore and Danny Woodhead play very well. No one played great.

Brady looked calvin schiraldi down the stretch.......he got a little boo boo and all of a sudden he can't throw a strike and everything is behind the target.

Brady is no longer a clutch qb

I'm not sure how special teams was responsible for offense and defense not complementing eachother at key times. What was Mesko supposed to do, kick 90 yard punts?

They moved the chains on us with ease, and hence got to back us into our own 10 nearly every punt which makes it harder to drive, you do remember Brady led us from the 2 for a TD.

If Welker had caught that pass, the Pats would've likely had a 10-11 pt lead. I thought it was odd that the refs didn't give the pats 8secs back in that last drive after the "12 men on the field" penalty. Even worse that Hernandez dropped the ball in the last drive.

I thought Brady played well, considering he was playing in his own endzone every drive. Gronk waved he was open and Brady lodged one over there before he got sacked. Wrong decision, but then again, that INT did not cost them the game, it was Welker.

NFL Network just reported that in his two Superbowl losses, Tom Brady is 0 - 13 in passes thrown 20 yards or more.

Tough to win going 0 - 13.

If Welker makes a catch that he has to make, the Pats win and Brady is the SB MVP.

Makes me wonder why, in that situation, teams don't just put 45 guys on the field.

Arguing good, bad or indifferent is meaningless at this point. Brady had the game won, and then was throwing the ball well enough to still win the game, but his receivers let him down.

That's what you call damage to your legacy. When Brady had the deep threat with Moss they scored 14 points in the SB. This year it was 17 pts. with none being scored in the last 25 minutes of the game.
Be curious to know how many plays are being changed at the line by Brady.
This offense is way out of balance run vs pass. They get very predictable as the game goes on. Time for BB to take back the controls of the offense.
Ever since the O became all about Tommy and his arm aka the NE Colts they've won NOTHING!!
Time to evaluate why this offense is unable to control the ball and the clock in critical game situations. They could not put the Giants away when having a 8 point second half lead when given numerous opportunities to do so. They did the very same thing against the Ravens but were saved by the ineptitude of said Ravens. Need an entirely different mindset with this offense heading into next year.
