Interesting sidelight to this game, remembering owner Robert Irsay moving the Colts out of Baltimore in the middle of the night, pi**ing off all of Baltimore. I don't know what happened back then, but the Colts weren't one of your shoddier franchises with 3 NFL championships to their credit, one a super bowl win. Anyway, we'll give it a curse game thingie in honor of Babe Ruth, who grew up in Baltimore. Kickoff at 4:30 EST.

I'm all for that. See my Indy v Baltimore poll thread.

kind of tough to cast aspersions at Irsay from Modell's side of the field though...

Go Colts! Ack!!

Cal Ripken tosses the coin.

Is it just me or does Billick look like he's about 75 years old?

i wanna see Peyton get picked and sacked all day

Go RAVENS

2 runs .. 3 yards so far

Great start for the Ravens.

Re: Official Colts - Ravens game thread

Three and out for the Ravens.... Good looking run defense so far.

LOL I was thinking that also but in a different way.
He looks like his hemroids are ready to bust out and he's all bound up.

Re: Official Colts - Ravens game thread

Can someone please explain to me why teams don't come out and run a play action pass against the Colts on the first play of the game?

You know their going to put 8 or 9 in the box!

It sucks that the colts got lucky with Addai ... he's too good for them.

Adalius Thomas is huge. I wouldn't mind him anchoring the outside next year.

Klecko sighting.

Klecko sucked at blocking when he was here.

and yet he got attention..he chipped a guy who was already being blocked ..

Raven fan is just 1 notch above Raider fan. :p

Re: Official Colts - Ravens game thread

If the Colts jump out early, the Ravens will struggle to hold them. This is already a good drive, despite Peyton wearing his play-off pout even before the first snap.
