Are you rooting for the Colts or the Ravens? Me, I'm rooting for the Ravens, for the following reasons:

1. I'd rather have to go into Baltimore and play the Ravens outdoors than go into Indy and play them in their dome, where they were undefeated in 06, should we get by the Chargers.

2. Just because of the recent playoff history between us and the Colts, and the whole Brady v Manning thing, and the way the media is always kissing up to Manning, I'd just as soon Peymeton's NEVER wins a Super Bowl.

3. I'd like the see the city of Baltimore get revenge against the Colts for sneaking out of town under the cover of darkness in 1984. (Irsay = Coward).

What do you all think? What are your reasons?

ravens--billick and mcnair don't scare me--and i'd rather play outdoors in md than indoors at indy

lose indy lose!

As the saying goes, 'the lesser of 2 evils is still an evil.'

I think we can win at either Indy or Baltimore, but I like our chances better in a close game against Baltimore than in a shootout at Indy. Probably b/c of that, I'm cheering for Baltimore.

But I do think Indy will win, we'll beat SD, and we'll have to go to Indy and beat them there.

I'm picking the road teams in the AFC and the home teams in the NFC.

The Ravens are a bunch of thugs, and their fans really seem to be premier smack-talkers, while the Colts fans have been some of the best opposing fans to visit this site.

However, as long as Bill Polian is the GM of that team I hope they never win a SB. His tinkering with the rules to gain an edge for his team have damaged the pro game, and I don't want to see his actions rewarded.

Go Ravens!

To me it all comes down to hate. Both teams are on my top 5 hated teams list.

But, the Colts are 1b and the Ravens are #4. So, I want the ravens not to lose.

I would rather see the Colts lose. But McNair always does well against the Pats, so I'd be kind of afraid to see him in the conference championship.

Well put. :D I guess we haven't played the Ravens in a while so they've slid down my list too! And a lot of my hatred is for Ray Lewis specifically - he's now past the peak of his career so he isn't as much of a lightning rod for the whole team to me.

If we manage to get by S.D I'd much rather play Balt than the Colts for some reason. I really cant see Balt putting up many points at all on our D & I think we would win that game 21-10 or so. I don't know why by the Colts scare me if we have to play them in the AFCC game. I cant help but remember how the officials tried to give the Colts the game against the Steelers last year. I thought the officiating couldnt possibly get worse than the Denver game but the Indy/Pit game proved me wrong.

if the Patriots get by San Diego then they are the favorites to win the Super Bowl regardless of who they play.

I think it would be SWEET to go into the RCA Dome and have Brady kick Mannings behind AGAIN in a playoff game. I think CBS would love it too.

What a rivalry, the buzz around the nation would be amazing.

Considering how bad Indy was last week I think I'll have to root for them.

It's hard to root for Ray Lewis and some of those Ravens, but it's even harder to pull for Manning. I have more respect for the Ravens as a franchise as well, plus I'd like to see something different... playing in Baltimore instead of playing the Colts again.

The Ravens scare me. I'd prefer to play the Colts. We are unfortunately on the road either way.... So I will have to root for the Colts and deal with the bad taste in my mouth.

from a pats perspective i think ravens are better to play than colts because of unfamiliarity...a win for the colts today will really put them in great confidence and the fact that we have played the colts so many times kinda makes it like a div game which will be very tough for us regardless of the history ...
ravens unfamiliarity of our team might be better for the pats..
that being said..lets see if we can get past SD first(gulp!)

Just watched that ridiculous Ray Lewis entrance and now I am even more resolved to pull for the Colts.

I'm with you NUT ... I love football so it's hard to hate any teams but the Colts are 1 of the two.

I hate 2 teams ... the Jets and the Colts....they are lower than the Yankees to me.

GO RAVENS!!!

As to people saying who they want to play ... that's crazy. If you think you're the best then it
doesn't matter who you play or where you play them .... only a coward would want the easy team to play.

Speaking of the Yankees, if this were baseball, you'd fwant an 18 inning game which would use up all of each team's relief pitchers. So, double OT, pick'em.

One more thing, Adam Vinatieri in a Colts uniform will never look anything but Bizarro.

I'm cheering for Baltimore, only because if they win and we win, I'm going to the game next week.

I'm rooting for the Ravens. I want anyone with the name Manning OUT of the playoffs, as early and often as possible.
