Which of the other Patriots Super Bowls does this feel most like to you?

'96 or '01 for me. Surprised, but happy they got there.

'03 and '04, I had no doubt they would win and 07 was a completely different beast with the undefeated season on the line.

Hand to God it feels like 2001 to me. Nobody wants us, nobody likes us, the Giants are just so awe inspiring and wonderful much like our opponent that day. All we had was each other and that was more than enough.

This year is the same damned thing only we have each and Mrs.K.

We took the thing the Rams coveted most, used most, won the most with and we exposed it for the facade that it was in the face of a team that refuses to die and a coach that knows how to take the best feature of your game away from you and leave you for the rest of the game trying to figure out what to do now.

I would not want to be a Giant today!

2001. Like that one I didn't really expect the Pats to get to the 'ship and I'm not very confident of a win. I'm *more* confident than I was in '01, but not by much.

Throw in the "team of destiny" type stuff going on in both seasons and it's a lock.

People loved us in 2001, but thought we had no chance. I remember after the Rams beat the Eagles, FOX had a quick poll. "Who will win the Super Bowl?" The Rams had 71% of the vote, we had 29. I don't think it's like that this time. ESPN has it at about 50-50.

2003. Not sure why but I remember feeling a lot like this the day of that game.

Lets see-in 2001, the Rams were the favorites. 2003-Pats were favored 2004-Pats were favored. 2007-Pats were favored 2011-Pats were favored. It doesn't resemble really any of those games to me. Possibly 2001, but the Rams were deserving to be favorites, no doubt. However, this feels similar to the week 10 Jets Pats game. The Jets were the "hotter team" and the Pats struggled against the Giants the week before. Every one picked the Jets, but the Pats won in a blowout. Or USC/Texas when people went gaga over USC and their defense. Then Texas went up and down the field on them.

I'll state the obvious, this feels like Super Bowl 42.
