The New England Patriots are one of the most disciplined team in football -- and that has even carried over to their eating regimen leading up to the Super Bowl ... TMZ has learned.

According to our sources, the team has been on serious lockdown this week when it came to meals. We're told in Indianapolis ...the players HAD to eat what was put on the table.

Our sources say team cooks came to the hotel and prepared the grub. Dinner last night was a choice of chicken, steak or fish ... with a side of vegetables.

Bet Tom's hoping they don't eat crap tomorrow.

lol .. whats the media gonna print next? coaches are urging their players to use soft bathroom tissues?

Can it really be called a strict regimen if steak is on the menu? Steak and veggies for dinner... the horror.

Lets hope the giants are eating a ton of junk food. When I was in basic training and if you ate anything with a lot of sugar in it, they would smoke us and that sugar made you drag!!! Im glad they are eating something with protein and nutrients!

Just hacked a copy of the menu for today's light lunch...kosher ham & cheese sandwiches

TMZ and reporting in the same sentence always makes me chuckle a little.....

Giants gorged on pizza the other night to keep with their pre-game tradition. They had it sent from a NY locale..

This is pretty common for NFL teams. Not sure what the Giants served last night, but tonight's menu offerings include their choice of:

They did it this way to avoid the poison
the Colts were going to slip in...

A source has informed me that TMZ has the following on their website

"Celebrity Gossip and Entertainment News, Covering Celebrity News and Hollywood Rumors. Get All The Latest Gossip at TMZ - Thirty Mile Zone."

Naturally, one must ask the question,

"What kind of man reads, watches or listens to TMZ?"

Answer: No man does.

What a waste of human effort **** like TMZ is....

I wonder if bonk breakers are on the menu

Can't take a chance on some spiteful Colts fan slipping some Exlax into the O-line's donuts or something. :nono:

oh, you mean they're not going to let Colt fan restaurants eff with their food?

Shocking.

I don't understand why that is such a bad thing. :confused2:

That meal of animal protein/fat and vegetables comprise the majority of my meals. Has for almost a year now (I adhere most of the time to a Paleolithic/Caveman Diet).

I can honestly say that my energy levels... both psychologically and physiologically... has never been better eating like this.

Food "restrictions" my arse

Yep, when I want good honest info, I go straight to TMZ.

God, I remember that.

One time, it was one of our "squad leader"s birthday. The DS bought boxes of pizza, then proceeded to smoke us while they enjoyed it.
