Where are you watching the game

I don't allow anyone around to distract me in a regular season game, no way for the SB.

It's funny, I usually prefer to watch Patriots games in solitary focus, but not when they're in the Superbowl. I appreciate the "event" atmosphere and fellow-feeling of a Superbowl party. Plus I have a tendency to get WAY too intense and risk cardiac arrest on my own!

I'll be watching at a friend's house in South Dakota. By the end of the game, I would hope that I'm giving a victory yell so loud that every Pats fan from California to Maine could hear me - except that I'm hoping and expecting that whatever yell I make only contributes to the collective victorious roar from Patriot Nation.

"I'll be in my bunk"

My best friend who is a cowboys fan invited me over for the game. I know he will be rooting for the pats but I gotta be in the batcave for this one. Home with food and drinks my 4 year old and girlfriend rocking out the pats gear and going ape****.

Patsnation stand up!

Made the mistake of having a huge superbowl bash in '07. Going to a superbowl party hosted by a friend of mine this time around. Hopefully that's not a mistake. Leading up to the game should be fun. Poker tournament, Winnipeg Jets game on the tube. Anything to distract me from the hours leading up to the game.

As for the game, they better win. Last thing I need is 30 people giving me the gears at the party.

Nearly died the 1st time I read this, missing the and

On my couch. I'm sick. As in fever creeping up by the hour. I feel like garbage.

Good news is, the last time I felt like garbage before the SB was Superbowl 36.

Different reason then, i was badly hungover but the principle is the same.

Same here- during the regular season, I'll often watch games by myself and participate in game threads because they're fun for the most part, but the superbowl game is at this point in time, nearly usurped by the superbowl event. It helps to pass the tedious time when the actual game is not in play, by socializing and talking, especially at halftime. I will re-watch the game again, bereft of ads and halftime excess, later tonight.

No SB parties, too many distractions, side conversations and possibly lousy seats.. will be home with my wife(a huge fan) and grandson, less of a fan and of course my dog.. TedyB.

This year I will be watching the Super Bowl in my basement with no one but my two cats with me.

I usually prefer to watch the game with my wife, but she is away with our baby daughter visiting her family in Texas. She's a life-long Cowboys fan, but she has always been supportive of my love for the Patriots.

For Super Bowl XLII, my wife (who was then my fiancee) was working late. I still went ahead and ordered a pizza as we had planned. When the pizza man arrived, I paid him and took the pizza, but he would not leave!!! He just kept babbling on inanely about nothing. I am not letting the happen again so I'm picking up the pizza instead of having it delivered tonight. My cats are more interested in seeing the Patriots play than the crazy pizza man was!

My wife, kids and I are watching the game at my buddies house with his family and some friends. Gotta a big pot of sauce on the stove with home made meatballs and sausage being prepped for the event.

Over/Under on my caloric intake for the day is 4000.

Home by myself...the way it should be.

My sunroom. A hd projector and a one hundred inch screen. Life sized players

Alone in my college dorm room...On a 32" TV, far from HD.

:rocker:

Home with family and friends on my big Plasma.

Watching it from work on NBC's site. I get no audio, but I can hear ads just fine. What gives?
