ME...I say its a quick screen type pass to Welker...sideways to get their DL thinking.

Spread formation, shotgun with Woodhead offset left. Draw up the middle 6yrds......

Ocho runs a post and gets behind the D unattached, Brady sees it, hits him on the 50 and he runs it in from there untouched.

Bet the house!

80 yard TB rush

short pass to gronk

Fake hand off to Law Firm, pass to Branch on a 7 yard out pattern.

My first guess is a 4 yard rush up the middle with BJGE to start the game. My 2nd guess is a 7 yard pass to Aaron Hernandez.

My bold prediction for the game is BJGE with 92 rush yards and 2 TDs.

Flea Flicker; hand off to LawFirm, toss back to Brady, Brady throws down the middle to Welker = TD and shocked and burned Giants D and a disgusted looking Coughlin.

Vanilla handoff to Law Firm for 1 yard gain.

Sorry, that's what we do...

2 WR, 2TE 1 HB set, HB dive with BJGE for 6 yards.

NO, it is not. When have the Patriots started a game with a run?

If it is, it will only be to lull NY. Most likely, a spread offense with a quick pass to .......Gronk.

You are probably right. I just have so many memories of vanilla running plays on first downs this year, but don't have stats on first down of entire game.

We'll see if my prediction is right.

2TE, 2 WR, with BJGE in backfield...

Pass to Welker, incomplete.

Screen to Gronk. Show the Giants right away that they have to respect him.

If it's "normal" field position to start a drive ( own 20-35 yard line) it'll be one of two plays a short pass for 3 to 5 yards or the patented Green Ellis two yarder. The Pats are going to do their damndest to stay out of third and longs in this game so I see very conservative, safe passes on first downs. We're talking quick drops and get rid of the ball. Really don't think there'll be much down the field stuff today, unless they get a good lead and can safely go for a dagger....I HOPE!

2WR, 1RB set. Hernandez in the slot to the left of the formation. Ocho at X, Welker at the Z, aligned close to Gronk. They'll run levels with Gronk and Welker and have a seam read for Ocho on the backside. It will be there, as Rolle will bite on Hernandez. Brady drops one over Rolle for 76 yards and 6.

Brady under center. Law Firm. Gronk off the line in position for a screen. If the Giants move an LB out of the box and onto Gronk, give it to Law Firm. Have Gronk decoy only, and not reveal whether he can run or not.

If Gronk can run, next play he blows by the LB.

[Jeezus, why does my goofy post have to follow Jays?!]

Brady under center with BJGE behind him. 4 wide with Branch and Welker in the slots and Gronkowski and Hernandez lined up outside. Brady play fakes and then throws a 40 yard lob to Gronkowski who out leaps Corey Webster for the ball. 40 yard gain. Let the Giants know right from the start that Gronkowski can play and that the Pats can attack them vertically if they want.

2 WR, 2TE 1 HB set, HB dive with BJGE for 6 yards.

I don't ever recall BJGE going through the A gap, do you? On the other hand, you know that for the superbowl, BB will come up with a few things that nobody has ever seen in the regular season.
