GUYS I HAVE A PHYSICS TEST WEDNESDAY, I WANT TO GO TO DENTAL SCHOOL IF YOU LOOSE IM GOING TO DO BAD ON MY TEST AND MY LIFE WILL TURN TO SHAMBLES.............

that`d be my speech.

The showed a segment on Sport Center this evening where they asked the players to describe the coach's final pre-game speech. Law Firm described it as "epic" (you could really see stars in his eyes), McCourty said (paraphrased) "I could run through a wall right now".

Always wanted to give my own pre-game speech........

"Where we're you one week ago? Do you remember? Where were you 2 weeks ago? Do you remember that? Do you remember 68,000 fans yelling at the top of their lungs for 3 hours on defense? Do you remember the elation everyone had after the missed FG? How did that make you feel? Where did you look? Who did you pump your fist in the air toward? What if no one was there? What if the stadium was empty? Would the victory have felt the same? Before you got on a bus to go to the airport to fly here, who made the time to show up in 40 degree weather to wish you well? Who stands out in 90 degree August heat just to see you PRACTICE? What if they weren't there? Would it be the same?

Who sacrifices their time, their heart, their money, just to see you do your job. How many of you would do that for them? How many of you would switch places with them? When you looked up in the stands 2 Sundays ago, how many of you thought 'Most of these people work 2000 hours a year just to make less than half of what I make in one game? Do any of your realize that? Do any of you think about that? Plumbers..... warehouse workers....... teachers..... car mechanics..... police officers...... firefighters....... military.......many of these people put their LIVES on the line everyday, and hand over some of their meager earnings to you.......

People sacrifice so much for your benefit. Why? Because they BELIEVE. They believe you will WIN!!! For everything that they sacrifice for you, you MUST give back to them. They deserve NO LESS than your EVERY and ALL out effort. You OWE them nothing less than VICTORY.

Hey! What's all this laying around stuff? Why are you all still laying around here for?
Stork: What the hell are we supposed to do, ya moron? We're all expelled. There's nothing to fight for anymore.
D-Day: [to Bluto] Let it go. War's over, man. Wormer dropped the big one.
Bluto: What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter: [to Boon] Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
Bluto: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...
[thinks hard of something to say]
Bluto: The tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!
[Bluto runs out, alone; then returns]
Bluto: What the **** happened to the Delta I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest night of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst. "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Bluto, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Wormer, he's a dead man! Marmalard, dead! Niedermeyer...
Otter: Dead! Bluto's right. Psychotic... but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons, but that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part!
Bluto: We're just the guys to do it.
D-Day: [stands up] Yeah, I agree. Let's go get 'em.
Boon: Let's do it.
Bluto: [shouting] "Let's do it"!
:D GO PATS

A picture of David Tyree's catch.

Alright fellas, no need for speeches. You're ready, and when you're ready you don't need speeches to get you ready. You have played well together all year. Play well together tonight for 60 minutes and you will be champions. Tonight will be determined by how you all execute. They don't matter. They are just a faceless opponent who drew the short straw tonight. Do your job, play hard for 60 minutes and for the rest of your life you will be a champion.

Some blending of a few themes:

The Giants seem to think they can mail this one in. Everyone seems to think they can mail this one in.

This one's not for me or any of us. This one is for the Krafts.

We're playing a 9--7 team that got hot with a QB who now thinks he's better than his brother and Tommy. If we can't beat them tonight, we should all walk back to Foxboro.

You've done your jobs all season. Just do them for one more game.
