So who are the Jets fans rooting for in the Super Bowl?

Prime example of what dirtbags Jets fans are. Nuff said:

"Im rooting for someone to sack Princess Brady early in the game by the face mask in violent fashion (Hopefully he never walks again) Followed by a sideline play where Belichick takes a helmet to the head hit, and must retire due to brain damage."

BB would still be a smarter coach than Rex.

Sounds like most of them are divided and rooting against one or the other which is equivalent to rooting for the asteroid...

I have no doubt they are rooting for the asteroid to take out Lucas Oil Stadium during the game.

The silver lining for Jet fans is that no matter who wins they can go to the board of the loser and trash them endlessly. (Ignoring the fact that they suck, but that's no surprise)

They share a stadium, right?

Wouldn't the Jets have to see the Giants banners constantly or do they take them down when their team isn't playing?

Worse than that ... they wanted to be the first to win it in the new stadium ... they fear if the Giants win it will be an epic win in history of the new stadium.

Interestingly enough there have been at least two similar quandaries recently.

Last week Steeler fans had to watch the Ravens play the Pats, knowing the winner would advance to the Super Bowl. Baltimore and Pittsburgh fans can't stand each other as division rivals; Pittsburgh fans can't stand the idea of the Patriots winning another championship as it brings the Pats that much closer to their no longer being able to brag about the most Super Bowl championships of any franchise.

A year ago we had to endure an AFCCG between the Steelers and Jets.

I was snoopin' through GangGreen the other day and to be honest I saw a ton of them saying they hope we destroy the Gmen. A lot of them were saying they are sick and tired of all the Giants talking and that if the Giants win they're gonna have to hear it everyday....

Yup. This is me. Basically this and all the Giants fans shoving it in my face.

Haven't been around in awhile due to my teams incompetence, but good luck tomorrow guys. Hope Gronk pulls a Willis Reed and destroys the Giants D.

New yorkers are new yorkers. That IS the bottom line. When one of them faces Boston in a playoff game, the other cheers for the "other home team". They're like siblings that beat the snot out of each other, but start a fight with one of them and the other comes to their defense.

Of course, there are exceptions, but not many.

Nice analogy. Thanks buddy!

I'm certain most serious jesters are suffering severe depression & nausia with complications caused by their heads stuck up their rectums.

jets fans have to think about this every year - which team to root for?

A respectful Jets fan?? I'm starting to think there's still hope for unicorns too...anyways, appreciate the warm regards, come around more often!

Jets fans have to be rooting against their AFC rival, the Patriots (though I think you actually have to win something to be considered a rival but I digress)

Just by getting to the Super Bowl the Patriots have re-elevated themselves as the team where "free agents who want a ring" want to play next season.

They will be that much more the preferred landing spot for many free agents if they win...

Getting to the Super Bowl on average of every other year for a decade and winning it 80% of the time (if they win) is much more attractive than anything Rex Ryan can offer.
