Isn't Hong Kong famous for being a hotbed of NFL fans? Don't they shut down all the stores and shops so that the populace can watch the games?

Is it true that they run out of chow meain and chop suey cause so much is consumed by the rabid NFL fans of Hong Kong.

And, I heard that every junk in the water has cable tv so they can watch the games. I hope the cable is waterproof.

Not quite offensive yet but definitely stereotyping. As an Asian it's actually tiring to read posts by NEM which almost always refer to chow mein or chop suey whenever Hong Kong is mentioned. How would you like it if one implies that new england is only good for clam chowder and lobster? It's not really offensive, but after you hear it over and over it gets very tiring.

So instead of asking people to lighten up, maybe you should be more considerate. its a patsfan board and there are pats fans everywhere around the world.

This is my fault. I'll never mention Hong Kong or my people's consistently disgusting food again. Can't do anything about the username without losing my post # status, though, and can't do that when I'm so tantalizing close to 1000.

But if RayClay changes his name to Irish Drunk, I promise to change mine to PatCheapJew. It's funny because it's true. Actually, I suggest that everyone change their username to a blatant stereotype. SMG can change his name to SmartAsian, because he's both.

No one is running away crying. All i'm saying is that if it's said over and over again it gets tiring. Sorry if you can't understand the difference. If anyone is sensitive it's you. By the way, I wasn't trying to offend any Italians or people of African descent who happen to live in Hong Kong when i changed the foods to lasagna and collard greens.

I mean who doesn't like Lasagna.

And it so happens i went to a buffet that was kind of Soul Food, but mostly Southern. They had fried grits, but I didn't bother with that. I really couldn't see the purpose of frying grits and they had a lot of good vegetable dishes so I felt a little less guilty when I loaded up on Lima beans, Collard Greens and some kind of cabbage dish with bits of ham and stuff in it.

Why mess with the deep fried stuff when you had all you can eat ribs and some kind of meat that was like roast beef or something.

I don't think there was anything like Ham hocks or neck bones or whatever, but I've never really eaten that kind of stuff. There was probably some fried chicken gizzards, but i didn't bother. I really shouldn't be eating at buffets anyway.

Collard Greens are good and healthy, so that's a good tip to try something different.

We actually got takeout from one last week.

5 out of 5 family members agreed, it was awful!

Now we're sticking with Chinese, Thai and Indian.
