Since the injured diva has attempted to make this week all about himself I thought I'd start a thread about him and ask a question that should have an obvious answer but really doesn't.
We know outwardly Peyton Manning will be rooting for L'il bro Eli but in his heart of hearts does egotistical Peyton really want to see L'il bro win more championships than he has??
Personally I think Peyton will be quite pleased (in a very quiet way of course) if the Patriots win tomorrow. He's already lost the Brady comparisons so Tom winning another isn't going to bother PM anywhere near as much as being second fiddle in his own family.

We're really scraping the bottom of the barrel for thread ideas now. Honestly, as much as I root against Gomer he really seems like a decent guy and along with his family which is why I wouldn't even think for a second he would root against Goober.

Are you americans struggling to catch any sleep?! :D

I've been doing my best Hunter Thompson impression all week. About 4-5 hours/night, coffee to stay awake, bourbon & Ambien to get some sleep, then rinse and repeat.

I can sleep Monday. Maybe.

But as Gomer showed you this week, Gomer is all about Gomer.
Hasn't hesitated at all to take the spotlight off L'il bro and place it on himself even though it's L'il bro who's playing in the SB.
You're crazy if you think all the talk about Eli being the better clutch player, Eli being the one you'd want in the 4th qtr, Eli having more rings doesn't bother Peyton.
You know it's being said Eli vs Tom and you know Tom is hearing it and will have an answer on Sunday.

Are Super Bowl pick 6s a hereditary thingy?

Not really. I don't assume anything as to what Peyton, Eli, or Tom are thinking. If I was in any of their shoes I don't think I would be listening to any of the crap coming out of the talking heads. Of course you would want to win and be considered the best, but I don't think for a minute that Peyton would really be rooting against his brother. For all of their faults, they appear to be a pretty close family and the thought of rooting against his own brother in the SB, unless you're playing against him, is wrong.

I am sure the attention hog is going to be rooting for his little brother. Plus, if Brady wins, it diminish him in the GOAT conversation.

On second thought I should have started a thread about my mailman picking the Giants.
