Belichick: No setbacks for Gronkowski

Well that is good news.

NFLN just reported that Gronk was a full participant in todays session, albeit a walkthrough.

I really think his injury is overblown and not as bad as a lot of people seem to think. I think we'll see a close to or at 100% Gronk come game day.

If he was close to 100% he would have been practicing all week, or at least more than he did. My guess is his ankle is pretty effed up and he would have been out for a pretty good length of time had this been the regular season.

That doesn't mean I don't think he'll be effective, but I doubt he's near 100%.

My hunch is we're going to get an Gronk that is at about 85-90% which means he's still a big threat offensively. I feel great about this SB. Let's Go Pats!

This is game 19 for both teams; there are very few players @ 100% this time of year. Your "guesses" about Gronks health, ability to play thru pain mean as much as the predictions of the so called anal*ists

In other words, my guesses are as valid as they come.

Seriously though, if he was close to 100% he'd have been practicing much more than he did. I think that's pretty obvious. They aren't holding him out as some kind of smoke screen. The dude is hurt.

Let's hope that all is well for Gronk, but I still have my doubts about how efficient he will be.

Damn, I was so happy to see anything resembling an ankle stretch that I missed the shirt! :D
