PSALM SB 46

Let good triumph over evil on the field of artificial grass
The chosen ones have been silent, modest and humble
diligent and respectful to all of gods creatures

It is the wicked arrogant and deceitful heathens from the
land of many cameras who must be forlorn

Give Strength and Courage to King Hoodie and his disciples
on the field of battle...

For it is written (Book of Goodell 13:3)..the virtuous will always prevail over flawed warriors (Meadowlands 9:7) who doth thinketh too highly of themselves

AMEN

I am pretty tight with the Lord, and I asked him to not allow my son to see a loss this season. He was born 11/16/2011 and hasn't seen a loss yet.

I am confident he won't see on Sunday either.

I also want to add that I told my Daughter (who is crazier Pat fan than I am) before the playoffs started, that the Pats would beat the Giants in a rematch.

I also predicted every contest in the playoffs correctly. I am not saying this to pat myself on the back, but I have speaking things in faith for this playoffs, and everything has happened.

The Pats will win this game, and I believe fairly easily.

Here's mine:

Our Hoodie
Who art in Indy
Hallowed be thy name
Thy ring-dom come, our Super Bowl won
With Brady and his little pal Edelman
Give us Sunday our completed passes
As we intercept those who pass against us
Lead us again into domination
And deliver us from Manning
For thine is the dynasty, the power and the glory
Now and until the draft
Amen

Wow.

I'm sitting her just applauding that.

You're good!

God decided who would win this game long ago.

Look, we are all aware Vegas set the line back in January, but a prayer wouldn't hurt.

Please touch this team with your noodly appendage this Sunday.

Dear God,

...
I never tried to contact you for the last Super Bowl ...

So, it was YOUR fault!!!!!

And to think that you let me continue to believe it was MY fault because I watched the game on a different TV than the one on which I watched the three wins.

But, what's worse, you let me live with that guilt for four, long, cruel years.

The horror! The horror!

The Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Clearly, you've not been touched by his noodly appendage.

that's a relief, I thought he might have been trying get around the filter.:D

My own musical prayer:

Amazing Gronk, how sweet the pound
On ev'ry 3rd and 3...
With once-hurt ankle safe and sound
He's free to use his knees...

T'is Gronk that will teach Giants to fear.
And Gronk our foes bereave
How healthy did that Gronk appear -
Nary a pressure sleeve!

Dear God,

I know that I said I'd never ask you for anything ever again if you gave me one(1) Super Bowl victory in my lifetime. Not only did you answer my prayer but gave me 2 others. For this I was and always will be thankful and grateful.

I never tried to contact you for the last Super Bowl because I wanted to keep my word and felt it was in the bag. I did commit acts of human frailty when I busted my brothers balls, and a few other Gaints fans I know, before the last SB game. I paid a dear price for this and feel that I may drove those people to seek non devine intervention.

Yes, I think that they could have made a deal with your competitor. How else can the ending of that game be explained. So, I'm not going back on my word and asking you to give me another SB win. I'm bringing to your attention that your competitor may be present at the upcoming SB game. You may want to intervene so HE does not rule the day (as he did the last time) and that the truely best team prevails.

Your very humble servant,

Just did mine. We are all set for a BIG Patriots win!!!

I beseech thee, mighty Jehovah. Smite the unholy Giants from the Gomorrah of New York.

The approaching Sunday is making me cheesily/musically giddy :D

How are things in York-Gomorrah?
Have you any duck-boats to spare?...
:D

Sorry.

Yes, I've carrying that around for 4 years. But it's made me the humble person that I am today.

NUT

Come on, you're just trying to make the front cover of the NY Post!!

Dear Lord - please let us have just one more Super Bowl victory. We've been good (almost all of us); We've followed our team's lead and not trash-talked the Giants (at least not publicly); we haven't trolled at their sites (at least most of us); we've tried to remain focused at our jobs (sometimes). We just cannot take the pain again that the game that shall not be named caused us. Many of us still cannot speak of it. Please do not revisit it upon us. We are good loyal fans of the Patriots! It's time for redemption Lord! It's time for our unworthy brothers and sisters to the south to be burdened with the unbearable sorrow caused by losing a game you thought you were going to win. We have learned our lesson, Lord. Please return us to the promise land! Amen.
