Has anyone picked the Pats to win?

I usually don't get caught up with who picks who to win, but this is getting ridiculous. Outside of Doug Flutie I have not heard anyone pick the Pats.

I live in New York so I expect it from the papers and local shows, but every national radio and TV show I have seen has someone picking the Giants. And some think it won't even be close.

I guess I shouldn't even watch the game.

...and it's because of this fact that you should be supremely confident. If we've learned nothing the past 10 years it is the fact that the Patriots play their best in this role. When they are "disrespected" (even if they are not truly disrespected). They just seem to play better with a chip on their collective shoulder.

Personally I see this game being already decided BY THE START of the 4th quarter....whoever is leading by the end of the 3rd will have a comfortable lead IMO

I think there will be a team that will have multiple turnovers that will put the game out of reach......no 3 point Super Bowl for the Pats this time around.

No, don't get me wrong I am loving this. But its not like the Pats are a underdog.

Even when the Pats were playing the Rams in 2001, there were a few people who picked the Pats.

I do remember feeling the same way with the AFC Championship game vs the Steelers in 2001 and we know what happened there.

I am expecting the same outcome. I can't wait.

Accuscore computers also picked the Pats. As I noted in the Accuscore thread, I wonder if there is any corrolation between those two Patriot picks and the fact that Accuscore is the most accurate predictor of games this season and is 16-2 in picking Patriot games this year (68%).

Schlareth is the second most accurate and the most accurate human (65%).

I've learned that, when every blowhard in the media thinks one thing, and Vegas (not moving the line even with 60% of money on the Giants) thinks the opposite, you always want Vegas to be backing your team. Which is exactly what's happening: the casinos will make an absolute killing if the Pats cover.
