Chris Canty: "Get ready for a great parade on Tuesday"

He said he wants his fans to be excited... Apparently they were not excited until he said that.

"Get ready for a great day on Super Bowl Sunday ... and get ready for a parade on Tuesday."

So, apparently Canty will be in Boston on Tuesday...

I still can't get past his name :D

So I take it we can expect a full page mockery of his comments in the New York tabloids like they did when Brady only said "hopefully"?

The more this week wears on the more I think the Giants have convicned themselves the talk that they are better than their record, are hot, are some type of dominant defense despite managing to allow 25 ppg this year is for real.

The Giants are going to come into this game way overconfident, actually thinking they are the better team. I am beginning to think we are going to see one of these games where Brady comes out on fire and we have 20-27 on the board by halftime, while the Giants are wondering what hit them.

Seriously, is there any player on the Giants that isn't running his mouth? This is like the 6th or 7th person on that team guaranteeing a Giants victory. I hope that the Pats win in a massive blowout.

Giants heads are going to be so big coming into this game. Why should the pats even play. They have no chance

Have Rex Ryan and Joe Namath been giving these guys lessons on public speaking?

So the Pats are doing a parade in New York?

I hope the Pats make Canty regret his words.

Yep, Brady is going to slap then aside the head,

can we PLEASE be the 85 bears in this SB

and have them be the 85 Pats?

PLEASE

Never seen a 9-7 this ****y on the biggest stage (against a 13-3 opponent no less)... and have so many people buy into it. Everyone at CBS is picking the Giants. The Patriots, who have won 10 straight games, and tied for the 2nd best record in the NFL, have somehow become the underdogs to the team that's allowed more points than they've scored themselves, and didn't get into the playoffs until the very last moment.

This is awesome. I can't wait until the Patriots "upset" the Giants on Sunday.

These are the Jets.

I think the whole thing is terribly bizarre.

I'm not sure what the better strategy is to be honest. I don't know if I'd want my players as confident as possible (we've seen it work), or if I'd want them to just do the talking on the field.

We all know that the game will be decided on the field, but sometimes it does help to have your team come out with that blazing intensity. I guess we'll know more very soon.

These are the Jets.

With all due respect, I think that they are way better than the Jets.

Of course I know what you mean, but I think the talent levels are very different.
