Did you watch the press conference with BB today? The last time he had that smile was before the Broncos game where we blew them out 45-10. Has BB cracked the Giants code? I hope so!

All these players have been grinning all week, especially BB and Brady.

I sure hope they know something we don't.

I saw a segment with Suzy Kolber and her hair looked blown back like one of those vib...or commercials.

I don't think these 2 events are related. I do think after losing the last one and it taking 4 years to get back, the people on that previous team and BB appreciate how hard it is to get back.

This is pretty much the bizarro version of one of those body language threads.

"Just smelling the roses and enjoying the moment" is probably what is going thru Belichick's mind. Although, I have seen him put on a fake smile for media's sake. I have read reports that the team has had good practices. Which would make any coach happy.
Or can he foretell the future and likes what he sees 5 days from now?:D

I think it was Matt Light who commented on BB's mood before the Denver game, as BB was smiling, he said that the Pats had a good week of practice and that is why Bill was happy, I'm hoping that will be the case here, when Bill is happy everyone is happy :rocker:

I'm sure they're just happy to be back.

Those of us, myself included who act like the Pats losing being devastating need to sack up. Getting to the SB is an enormous achievement, especially with the defense we fielded. Time to enjoy it, regardless of the outcome.

I am officially destressed, and will revist this post many many times.

Here is my outlandish theory.

Brady is extremely intense. And while this may work for him, his intensity may cause the younger guys to come out to tight or perhaps even afraid of making a mistake. Belichick recognizes this and has changed his ways b/c he thinks the team needs to come out loose to win the game.

BB is a fierce competitor, he is never happy to just be there. He is happy to have an opportunity reach THE GOAL.

If he is smiling that means the team's preparation is going well, very well. If the practices and game plan weren't going well he wouldn't be smiling.

Probably a little gassy

BB knows he only needs 3 things to win....and they are doing them well in practice :rocker:

1. Keep Brady upright

2. Find the running game

3. Pressure Eli

I sure hope that means they're fully prepared and ready to lay the smack down.

It probably means he is happy, but that's just my guess.

Different approach, different demeanor, different preparation equals revenge for the Patriots..

It's a cultural thing but that's the expression Croation Warlords assume before eviscerating their enemies.
