Wow, he challenges all the Patriots DBackfield.

Deion asks him if he's salivating when he sees the Patriots D-Backfield.

He says of course, when he looks at the video, you can't help but get excited.

I totally understand why he would say that. I understand they've been bad.

I can't understand saying it in public.

He said the Patriots D-backs suck.

To be fair he is an expert on sucky secondary's, after all he practices against one every day.

Remind me again, which team allowed more points than they scored?

good, our secondary needs to be called out. Torrey Smith got behind them a couple times a few weeks ago, there's certainly plenty of room for improvement.

I certainly hope the pats D-backs serve him a nice plate of Shut The Eff Up.

To Mr. Cruz I say,

I can imagine Brady, Welker, Branch and the TE are saying the same thing about the Giants secondary... Pendejo...

Not just that. The Pats may have finished 31st against the pass, but the Giants finished 29th. They don't have the greatest secondary either. Pat's receivers (& TEs) should be salivating too. I don't expect the Pats to be classless like the Giants and verbalize that they are salivating over the Giants crappy pass defense. Pats finished with 40 sacks (8 less than the Giants, or 0.5 less a game) and more Ints than the Giants. Also, Giants run defense finished lower than the Pats so called awful defense.

I'm happy
that the Giants are overconfident, but they are far from a perfect team. Also, hopefully this motivates the Pat's secondary to play their best game of the year. And hopefully Chung gets fined after the game for a hit on Cruz :)

Well..that's nothing that hasn't been said on this forum.

Cruz on the other hand put his team on his back.

I hope the talk gets to our guys though.

Be careful what you wish for Victor. Kind of reminds me of Freddy Mitchell not knowing the Patriots DB's names. How did that work out?

The difference is that Mitchell sucked as an NFL player and Cruz is really good.

That's like saying the Pope is Catholic.....

...which reminds me, I will give up beer for Lent if McCourty does not suck for just one game this season....

That can be served up after the game. For now let them keep talking.

Keep talking, tough guys.

Apparently Gronk's ankle injury is getting more attention than the Giants team. The Giants are feeling left out, I guess trashing the Patriots will give them a little more attention.

The Pats were gonna blow them out before the trash talk, so I doubt the Pats are that motivated by it. Cruz won't even be a factor on Sunday.

Really?

SBNation.com must have edited that out:

VIDEO: Victor Cruz Smiles At Idea Of Facing Patriots' Julian Edelman - SBNation.com

Seems like a nice kid, who just is not too savvy with media day and doesn't know when to not be totally honest.

If there is other video showing where he said the Pats D-backs suck, please bring 'em forward.

Ambition, thou name art...:D

Following the Patriots is like the movie Groundhog Day.

For the last three months there is all this commentary on how the next opponent's quarterbacks and receivers are going to rip them to shreds and the Pats will lose because (a) the Pats defense is so bad, (b) the opponents receivers are so good, and (c) the opponents defense is so good - and then they go and play the game and the Pats win. The next week, the same exact exercise with the same reasons, just new names for the opponent - and the same exact results.

For example, before the last game all I heard was: Pats have nobody to cover the Ravens receivers. Ravens won't give Brady time to throw. Pats won't be able to stop Ray Rice. Ravens won in the playoffs two years ago, therefore they'll win again. Hmmm, sounds pretty much like what we've been hearing all this week, doesn't it?

Previous game: Pats have nobody that can cover Demaryius Thomas. Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil won't give Brady any time to throw. Pats defense won't be able to stop the Broncos running game. Basically the same thing that was said a week later about the Ravens; just different names.

For a guy that was held to two receptions for 28 yards against a pretty mediocre Atlanta pass defense two weeks ago, Cruz is coming across as being way overconfident. I would suggest he act like he's been there before, but perhaps that is part of Cruz' problem - he hasn't.

That's a lot of talking from a guy who was an absolute nobody less than a year ago.

So Cruz is about as dumb as some recently joined patsfans.com members.

Imagine that.

Never saw that coming.
