Many of these so called "experts" don't have a clue. They are biased. They have their agendas. You're giving them attention (web hits) they don't deserve.

Turn off ESPN, turn off the NFLN, stop looking for things to get upset about and enjoy the fact the Pats are in the Super Bowl and will soon be champs again.

I'm glad they're not the media favorite. I want all of those mediots to eat their words.

I felt so good about the team after leaving the rally yesterday. We have such an awesome group of players. Class A owner and coach. These guys will give it everything they have. There's no "we deserve this" attitude.

Screw the media.

i can't agree more.. i also cannot put my finger on it but i feel somthing special about this team.. they are united i have 100% faith in them to finish our road to redemption:rocker:

For the love of God, yes!

But then how will we know?!?!?!?!?!

Been saying it all year. Too many posters here focus on what the media says.

But when people in the media don't pick my team to win it hurts my feelings.

Might need to create a new sub-forum just for that topic.

Their goal is to get hits on their websites or have their babble downloaded, it is not about football and the fans.

Controversy sells..

I'm at the point of unfollowing rap sheet ... he is becoming so annoying with "his" opinions on everything. an i do mean everything

If you log off right now, you can probably catch Stephen A. Smith on ESPN saying that he "gives the Patriots no chance - no chance - against the Giants in Super Bowl 46."

Sorry, I just thought you guys needed to know.

I should also point out that it is within reason that even an unbiased reporter could pick the Giants simply because he/she feels they are playing better.

He's one of the ultimate "controversy sells" guys. He was all over Eli Manning this offseason on ESPN Radio in NY in a negative way and now of course he'll claim he's been preaching his greatness all along. Never listen to Stephen A for substance.

Smartest post I've seen on here in ages.

The thing that fatigues me most about this forum isn't belligerent fans of other teams invading. It isn't moderation policies that I don't particularly agree with (but have no problem living with). It isn't even the posters I disagree with constantly.

It's the incessant persecution complex.

The media's goal isn't to inform, it is to gain viewers. To sell papers. They aren't trying to improve your life they're trying to get paid.

When someone says something you disagree with about your team consider what they are saying and why. Also consider that when you become so incensed that you immediately post a link to their article so everyone else can go read it you are doing EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO DO.

So in the end either deal with it or boycott the author. Histrionics serves nothing.

Were you there at the rally? OR anyone else? It sounded so awesome and I am jealous as he((!!!!!

This is a really good point here (well with the point about the incessant persecution complex because in all fairness...the Mediots are HEAVILY Pro-GINT/Anti Pats this time around...them's just the facts and maybe it is for ratings but anyways)....and I have been guilty of being caught up in some of the media horsesh(t during the past week+ DESPITE trying to stay completely away from BSPN and the NFL network. But just in checking my email via Yahoo.....up pops a story about the "famed" Gint front 4......and it pissed me off. I have really been trying to stay away from all the mediot BS though.....and will continue to do so...Thx.....
