I am referring to all the stuff the week and days before or during the game itself.

If you could change something what would it be?

Things like having Media Day and them asking dumb questions?

Maybe to let stadiums in colder climates a chance to have it?

Perhaps the gap of 2 weeks before the game every other year or so?

Maybe the flamboyant Halftime show?

Or something else?

that's easy...if I could change one thing it would be that I had a ticket to the game!

I would definitely nix the televised halftime shows. As much as I hate analysts, I would rather listen to them talk then to watch the the abysmal shows since the Caroline SB mishap. I would also shorten halftime. I think it kind of hurts both teams. So for me, it's all about halftime. I would change that for sure.

1) Eliminate the extra week off
2) Kick off WAY earlier. Hell 9 am would be fine with me. But 7:00 makes for a horrible day waiting for kick off.

Agree, I HATE the halftime show.
I could do without the commercials too while we are at it.

Yes! Both of these things! :rocker:

Yeah,Janet Jackson's brief exhibition a few years ago was the only real positive reason to watch that stuff :)

I'd cancel the wall to wall 2 weeks of media BS. No way that will ever happen.

As a fan I'd like to get rid of the 2 weeks between but that is a disaster for the teams who make it trying to practice while handling the logistics.

All of the unlimited media access would be terminated if I had my way.

I want to see snowbowls again. Sick of this sissy dome stuff for every Superbowl. Give everyone a chance to host and let the chips fall where they may.

And yes, if you're not going to get rid of the half time show, at least book one that doesn't make all of middle America puke.

I'd like the refs to explain how they are planning to call the game.

Unrealistically, I'd like best 3 of 5 matchup. Heck it'd be more football.

I'd like to see the better team get true "home field advantage". Let the record decide which team gets hfa, and have the game played at their house.

Bring the Superbowl to Foxboro. The Patriots are the "home team", n'est ce pas?

Due to the change in dynamics and difference in audience the Superbowl will never change to anything positive for the hard core football fan. Just enjoy the game.

Host cities must be warm and fun cities only! No Detroit & Indianapolis or any other crap city. I'm ok with NYC.

1. Make the game earlier in the day. I have friends/family from 60m+ away, and I feel bad inviting them to a party on a Sunday night that won't end until at least 10pm unless they leave before the game is over.

2. Shorten halftime. You're butting right up to the moment where you forget you're watching a football game.

3. ran out of stuff

Party pooper.lol

1. Earlier game. 4 or 5pm ET start time

2. nix the halftime show or tone it way down. Or, have it off-site (but televised) so the teardown/setup doesn't infringe on the game.

3. COLD WEATHER GAMES! NE, NY, GB all deserve a shot at hosting the SuperBowl. The SnowBowl is one of the most memorable games ever played, no? I also really like the idea of a true home-field advantage, but for a ginormous amount of reasons, that won't happen.

Or a ginormous amount of revenue. What's the face value of a SB ticket? Twice my monthly, these days?
Rich folk won't wanna get chilly, now.

I agree with all the halftime stuff...too long and always dull. The only ones I can remember enjoying are the U2 one and the Tom Petty one.

Make the game a best of 3 series. Home team gets the first week in their stadium, away team gets week 2, always have a neutral site ready in case of a third game. I don't know, I think it would be cool to see how teams game planned for the exact same team one week later. If they were holding back, if they could make adjustments...just think it would be interesting.
