Sunday and NO Football

Sadly, this is a preview of what to expect after next week's game, win or lose. It's bittersweet. You wait and want all year for your team to be in the SB (and win), but it's also the final game of the NFL season.

Yeah its really dead after the SB, the most boring two months of the year, a real waste land. Then there's the draft.

At least we're playing in the big game :D

Last year, with the Rats and Squeelers in the AFCCG, it felt like hell. I hope we big win Sunday and have a legendary off-season ala 2007 off-season.

Do what I'm doing, RB, and drink vodka tonics and watch the flick City Island. I like Andy Garcia and his son in the movie is very funny in that he digs extremely plump gals.

We need to let Gronk's ankle heal. We're screwed if he's not going to be in game shape.

Im glad they're not playing this week, Im sick as a dog, I was sick the last time they played in the SB on SB sunday, made the game not as enjoyable, especially the ending, this year I can get it out of the way.

Interestingly, I've had this movie in my instant queue for a while now and I keep skipping right over it when I'm deciding what to watch. I will have to give it a chance someday.

I've been holding up fine suprisingly, just letting it soak in this time instead of stressing/waiting. I don't know how much longer I can stay sane though

I'm not going to be right starting on about Thursday of this week. I'm going to get more nervous as we approach kickoff. I'm going to be a wreck come next Sunday.

Sunday and NO Football

It is the toughest part of the year ... initially one's team eliminated then the day after the Super Bowl ... gut wrenching.

I got by today on watching America's Game for the Pats SBs, mostly. Also, I've had good results with ether.

Nikolai, your sig never gets old. I love it and it brings a smile to my face every time I see it.

“On a day when they could have had impact players David Terrell or Koren Robinson..they took Georgia defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who had 1 sacks last season in the pass-happy SEC and is too tall to play tackle at 6-6 and too slow to play defensive end. This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

From the end of the Super Bowl to the beginning of March Madness it's so boring - the March Madness gets me going again because the draft is right after.

Took my son bowling this morning, got to be about 1:00 as we were nearing home and I reached for my radio to put on a game and it hit me. No more Sunday afternoon football. Then I thought, "is this what it feels like from February until September?"

I had forgotten the emptiness...Seems I do this every year.

No likey Probe Hole? ;)
