His life is great...so how many cards are you playing with? Some people do and others are fans.......

I have all 52 cards thanks.

Man, some of you guys are so tough on this guy!

I still like him, his non-contribution this season aside. My fantasy would be for him to catch for over a hundred yards, three TD's and Super Bowl MVP.

Yeah, I went there. Just a fantasy mind you. All fun, so hold your bullets! :singing:

Maybe he'll catch the game winning touchdown in Overtime.

Whatever the football equivalent to JD Drew's grandslam is - I'm hoping for it.

I'd prefer the one that puts the Pats up by 28 points in the third quarter. :)

Interesting that Ocho is proving to be a good teammate and far from a distraction for the Patriots, people still pile on him for baring a little of his soul in a tough season where his performances haven't been up to his and I'm sure the Patriots standards.

Go figure.

I am sure glad Tom Brady doesn't confide in Ryan Leaf every week. :bricks:

And if he did he'd be smart enough not to blabber about it. Chad is talking now because he needs some attention. And he needs to be sure people appreciate what he's been through...

It's really sad that those three lean on each other when what each of them really needs is professional therapy...

Well he hasn't had the season he (or the Pats) had hoped, but by all accounts he has been a good team mate, has worked hard and hasn't been a distraction.

I actually think it's a pretty impressive tribute to his character that he's managed to remain an well-liked, positive teammate during a season that must have been immensely difficult for him. It's no secret that he's been a flop on the field, but I've actually GAINED respect for him personally.

:yeahthat:
Some people here are disparaging him for his high price. They should be ridiculing BB for that mistake. Clearly Ocho is either not a good fit for this system or simply not good at all but given that scenario, he has behaved very well for a hall-of-fame wide receiver. If there is a failure here, it has been a failure in team building; not in Ochocinco who by all accounts is giving his best effort.

And someone just compared Ryan Leaf to the one and only Randy Moss :bricks:

Ocho is NOT a HoF WR. C'mon now.

Why the scoffing? Compare his stats to Michael Irvin's. If Chad had put up decent numbers with the Patriots this season on the way to a Superbowl, I think he would have been a shoo-in.

"Is it 'cos I is ...?" -- nah, couldn't possibly be.

I actually question Irvin as a HoFer too. I don't think he had the numbers. He got in because he played on a 3-time SB team.

With that said, I think Irvin was a better player than Ocho.

I don't understand why "fans" hate on the players of their favorite teams. Be supportive and hope he kick butt in the SB.

Quite a few of the fans dont like him and call him Ocho Stinko.

His twitter life is in shambles. He may or may not still know the playbook after several months. BB scratched him from the Bronco playoff game. Some of his teammates ignore him after work. The Boston media would like to know why hes worth 6 million bucks.

LMFAO...you cant be serious. Twitter life in shambles? lol, Stupid jealous haters calling him Stinko? LMAO...Ignored by teammates is a lie. Scratched due to death in family. Paid what he is worth, not his fault BB doesnt know how to use him.

Ocho has a great life, bet he wouldnt trade it with any who thinks his life isnt great.

I agree with you, but this is one more irrelevant Ochocinco story in a long line of them, especially in the past month alone.

Chad buys some headphones.
Chad talks to Moss and T.O.
Chad has a family emergency.
Chad makes new twitter friends with weird people.
Chad's girlfriend won't sleep with him until he scores a TD.
Chad is 'humbled' by this offense.
Chad says that Brady is intense this time of year.

and THIS is considering that #85 has been "quiet" this year? Are you serious?

None of these stories have been relevant to his football play at all, or really even the team or the opponent for that matter.

While nothing would make me happier than seeing a decent clutch performance by him next Sunday, en route to his first ring....why doesn't he (Please be quiet - edited) and concentrate on the most important game of the year?

This has been a circus, case closed. I realize that it "could've been a lot worse," but it's still been a circus.

I like the guy...a lot. But damn already. Get on the field. Get on the playbook. Get your mind right, and get ready to possibly contribute to the single most important game in your entire career. The one defining moment that you've supposedly been waiting for...

It's like a soap opera with this dude, and I don't mean that in a negative way. I think he has done some things right, like tone it down on some level and try hard. But now is not the time (within the past month) to be so deep in the spotlight when you aren't doing a damn thing on the field.

Here's hoping he has a chain moving catch or two, possibly even a downfield target. I hope that maybe he can at least stretch the field as a decoy at times.

Something???
